just a small group to protect her. He wanted to put a couple barriers up so they couldn't get to her right away. Owen thanked Gray and they all left.

Ember looked at Gray and saw the picture again. she forced it away and smiled as she said, "you still owe me an explanation." He smiled and said, "on what?" she said, "on the fact that my subconscious knows but I didn't." his smile faltered as he said, "you used to know but my mom wiped yours and my memories not all of them just enough to keep us safe after your town was fenced in, she thought we were too close at the time and too young to understand why we couldn't see each other. So, she wiped some memories and turned what memories that were left into dreams which eventually turned into nightmares for me. The only reason I even got my memories back was because I saw you through the fence and even then, I didn't get them back until I got to know you a bit better." He smiled and said, "it was the drawings and the way you acted around the pack that kind of gave it away."

Ember's smile fell as she looked away and said, "my memories turned into nightmares to." He lifted her chin and made her look at him. He smiled and said, "they will go away now that you have your memories back." she pulled away and said, "and if they don't or get worse?" He said, "they'll go away."

she looked up at him and said, "you can't be one hundred percent positive." He smiled more and said, "no but I can be ninety nine percent positive." She smiled a bit, but that picture kept coming back. Gray could tell something was wrong but he couldn't tell what. He could also see she still looked tired so he said, "why don't you get some rest."
