Chapter 9
Her name is Ava. She was a beautiful young woman with light pink eyes and long black hair with cherry blossom branches extending from her head like horns, there were some ethereal butterflies flying around her horns, she had a blueish purple gem on her forehead and a tattoo on her chest. It looked like two branches coming down from her shoulders to her chest with a web connecting them with a butterfly coming out of a cocoon in the middle. Gray started to argue with her but she cut him off and said, "she'll die if you don't listen to me. She was infected by a demon's Poison. it will kill her if I don't remove it immediately." Gray flinched at her words he didn't want anything to happen to Ember so he picked up the swords. It was clear Gray and Ember were the only ones to see her.
The others started asking questions as he opened the portal, picked Ember up and ran through with her. Ava then said, "put her in the water it won't hurt her she has my permission to enter." Gray hesitated for a second because he knew the water could hurt Ember. Ava then said, "don't worry I give you my word she will be fine if you listen to me." Gray looked at her and said, "and how do I know I can trust your word?"
Ava smiled and said, "Iam bound by my word but if it will make you feel better if anything happens to her you may kill me." Gray nodded and figured she wouldn't make a promise like that unless she was telling the truth. He walked into the water making sure Ember's head stayed above the water. Ember felt the poison leave her body as Ava said, "I can remove the poison and heal her wounds enough for her to move around, but not completely. It feels like something is
