would know where they were going with her. Even if he didn't Gray knew he could follow the pull and find her but there was no way he was going to get her back on his own. He wanted back up in case he failed then someone else could save her in his place.
He went back home and said, "Ember was taken by the hunters. I need you to go to each of the villages and gather people to help get her back. hopefully it won't come to an all-out fight but I need some more people there to get her out if I fail to." They agreed and he sent them out through portals. He sent his grandma home and then asked, Kayla where Jack was as his anger began to rise. when she said, "he's in my kitchen with us." Gray used a portal and went there Gray was angry he knew Jack hadn't been a part of this as Gray looked at him.
Gray couldn't keep the evil glint out of his eyes, it scared Kayla but Jack understood that Gray only lost control like this when Ember was in trouble, and the only way to keep him from killing the hunters was to get Ember back. she was the only one who could bring gray back from the edge. so, Jack said, "Kayla, go get a bag ready for Ember. Koda, you need to stay calm, we will get her back." Jack then walked over and picked up Ember's phone and passed it to Gray as Kayla ran off to grab Ember's bag. Ember had expected something to happen so she kept a bag ready just in case.
When Kayla came back Gray took the bag from her. Evelyn started to say something but when Gray met her eyes with a slight glare, she lost her will to speak. Kayla stepped forward and looked at Gray as she said, "let me come to she's, my sister." Gray looked at her and he pulled back his anger as he and Jack said, "no.''
