needed Pete's help. they can't use the spring water on her so Gray put her down in Mike's room and Pete began to check her wounds.
Nala stayed to help and everyone else had to leave the room. Jack was really confused and started asking questions. Gray ignored him until Pete came out. When he did, Gray looked at him and Pete said, "her wounds are minor, she should be fine after some rest." Gray relaxed and Jack started asking again.
Pete asked, "what happened to her this time and who is this boy you brought here with you?" Jack threw his arms in the air. Gray and Pete ignored him as Gray said, "Demetrius has targeted her from what I can tell from this encounter he wants to sacrifice her." Gray cut off as he felt his anger rising, he clenched his fist. he made himself calm down and continued, "I don't know why and I don't know the boy. He was protecting Ember though so I brought him."
Pete then said, "okay for now no one goes in that room until we know what's going on except me or Nala." Everyone agreed though Gray didn't like that he wanted to be next to Ember. then Jack said, "my name is Jack. I was sent out to save Ember from vampires; that was the information I received from headquarters. The call went out to several hunters. I just happened to be the closest it was made by the hunters named Angela and Owen. I wasn't told there was going to be someone else there to save her." Gray nodded and said, "so her grandma and dad sent you then." Jack looked at Gray more surprised than before and said, "So you know she's a hunter and you still came to save her."
Gray shrugged and said, "why wouldn't I? She is a close friend of mine and my pack, we won't sit back and let her get hurt." Jack and Pete looked at Gray both
