Nala was a dark gray wolf with icy blue eyes, she sniffed Ember and then Nala's tail began to Wagg like crazy. She put her head down on Ember's chest as the rest of the pack poured out and surrounded them. Ember pushed Nala off and said, "sorry Hun you're getting a bit big to be doing that to me." She then got up and glared at Gray and asked, "what are they doing here." She tried to keep the anger out of her voice but it slipped out anyway.
Nala looked sad so Ember petted her on the head and said, "it's too dangerous here." Gray looked at Ember and said, "now you sound like the adults around here." She got even madder and said, "it's not dangerous for the people, it's dangerous for them." She gestured to the wolves. They looked at her more than a little confused when her phone went off again.
Kayla had texted her asking where she was. Ember shook her head and said, "I don't have time for this. I have to go see what's on my house before my sister has a heart attack." She headed for the door and the wolves were following her. Gray called "stay!" He didn't want her going out there if there was something on her roof so he decided to keep her here as long as he could even if it made her mad at him and it did. as the wolves stopped Ember glared at him as he said, "you can't just take my dogs."
Ember was angry as she said, "one they're not dogs, their wolves, two they're not yours and, three you're missing three of them already and if you really knew them you would have seen that from the start."
