They tried to get past the gate and Gray moved to Ember and asked, "are you still, okay?" He was worried she had hit her head too hard. Ember nodded and looked behind Gray, the shifters were angry as she asked, "what are we going to do about them?" Gray said, "let them walk home if they're going to be like that, I helped them enough but I will make a portal for the women. there is no need for them to walk." Ember smiled and said, "so you're not going to try to help them."
He was a little irritated that the shifters were trying to hurt Ember as he said, "I did, I freed them with your advice. I refuse to help them if they have a problem with you." Just then Alice came up and smiled as she said, "so you're going to get us home. We should try and calm them down first. After all, they'll just target her if you just leave with her." Gray looked at Ember and thought 'Alice is right they would target her if we don't do something.' he thought for a second and said, "do you trust me?" Ember smiled and said, "of course I trust you."
Alice was surprised as Gray walked behind Ember, draped his arms around her shoulders protectively, and said, loud enough for everyone to hear, "the hunter you are looking for is the girl I came here for. I claim her as mine. If anyone has a problem with her you can take it up with me." Kojak then said, "And I speak for my pack and the rest of his pack when Isay we accept his claim so you will need to go through us too." The pack moved between Ember and the other shifters clearly protecting her. Alice was more surprised as she watched then a man asked, "how do we know this claim is real? we have no reason to believe that you
