she moved her head to his chest; he pulled his arms around her again pulling her closer to him.
He didn't want to let her go just yet; She settled back down almost instantly but he couldn't go back to sleep right away. He laid there and watched her sleep for a little while just happy she was with him again and safe in his arms. After a little bit he kissed the top of her head and fell back asleep. The next morning Kayla came into the room as Jack tried to stop her.
Kayla looked at Ember and asked, quietly, "how is she? is she okay?" Gray said, gently, "she will be fine, she just needs to rest." Jack asked, "why are you not surprised to see him lying in bed with your sister?" Kayla said, "I figured out they have been sleeping together shortly after they returned to town. She has been getting more sleep and seems like she's feeling much better besides their dating and has disappeared for a good while. I would be more surprised if they weren't." Ember moved and sat up as she threw a pillow at Kayla who laughed and said, "you're finally awake, good I was getting worried."
Ember smiled a little and said, "hard to sleep when you guys keep talking." Gray sat up next to her and moved to lean against the headboard. Ember moved and leaned against him; he put his arm around her. Nala got off the couch and went into the kitchen. She came back as Lilly and gave Ember something to eat then felt Ember's forehead to make sure she hadn't started to get sick.
Lilly then checked Ember's wrists to make sure they healed all without saying a word. when she was done Kayla asked, "what was that about?" Gray said, "Nala Is our medic. she tends to all of our wounds onsite. she has saved me a number of times." Kayla then
