Some had broken glass in them as she looked around and saw the guy who took her Demetrius was standing by one of the windows, he was tall with black hair and black wings like a crow's wings. she glared at him and asked, "where am I and why did you take me from my room."
Demetrius didn't look at her a little uninterested in what she had to say and said, "you're a means to an end that's all you need to know." Ember said, "that doesn't tell me much and to what end?" He still didn't look at her, just stared out the window and said, "when he comes to save you. You can ask him your questions." Ember was more confused as she asked, "when who comes?" Demetrius was getting a little annoyed with her questions as he said, "I don't know what you know him as but he's the boy who has been hanging out with you."
Ember flinched and looked down a little sad as she thought of Gray And thought 'there is no way he knows I'm missing and how is he supposed to find me anyway.' she then said, "if you're waiting on him to save me, you'll be waiting forever. I doubt if he even knows I'm missing. He left town a couple weeks back." This caught Demetrius's attention and Ember felt his eyes on her then. She looked up as he moved toward her his eyes were almost black. She could tell he wasn't happy about what she said, as he said, "then I will just have to find another use for you until he gets here."
Demetrius made her stand and called for someone named Alexandra a girl came in. She had black hair and blue eyes like Ember, but she was a little taller and looked like the cheerleading type with wings like a crow as black as night. Alexandra glanced at Ember and
