Ember was happy he found a way to talk to her. she opened It he had drew her a picture of the pack and them and wrote her a note he told her, "I'm sorry I can't come see you but write down what is wrong and Nala or mom will bring it to me to read and we could talk like that since I can't come see you and my phone is almost out of time." Ember smiled and started to ask for paper when Lilly handed her a notebook and pen with a smile. Ember gave her a weak smile and wrote Gray a letter back telling him about her nightmare last night and that she was worried about it. she folded the note and gave it to Lilly, she took it and ran when Alice asked, "what's going on?"
Anna explained it to her, Alice then said, "that's so sweet I didn't think Koda had a side like this." Anna said, "Ember kind of brings it out in him." Ember looked at the drawing and smiled. Alice looked over her shoulder and asked, "did Koda draw this? I didn't know he could draw, it's really good." Ember smiled then Nala came in with his response, she handed it to Ember.
She opened it and read, "I'm sorry I'm not there. I wish I could be there but I'm not supposed to come up, I'm sorry you had that nightmare. I am trying to get you back with the pack as quickly as I can." Ember smiled as she saw a quick drawing at the bottom of them hugging, she wrote back that she already felt better just talking with him even if it was through letters then drew her own drawing of them hugging, folded the note and gave it to Lilly who took it to him. Alice said, "I'm happy you're smiling again and in just a couple short letters from him they must be good letters." Ember shrugged and said, "he just knows what to say to cheer me up." Alice smiled and said, "that is
