Ember took off toward the beast before Gray could stop her. his fear spiked as he thought 'she is going to get hurt.' he had to stop her he ran after her as she slid past it. The beast changed direction and headed for her. It caught her in no time and jumped over the fence with her.
She looked back at the town as Gray ran to the fence and then back into town. He was mad that the beast had the nerve to take her; he ran to the gate with the pack hot on his trail as he followed the tracks of the beast. Ember was still mad at him for bringing the pack into the town. After a few minutes of being jolted around she passed out. When she woke up, she was being thrown into a cage.
She rolled to the other side and hit the wall as she sat up, she grabbed her head and when she pulled her hand away, she saw blood. She got up and wiped it on her pants as she dusted herself off and looked around. She was in what looked like a jail cell. There was a bed but not much else in the room. The walls were gray and the bars looked rusty.
The floors and walls were stone. the only way out that she could see was the door the beast threw her in and she couldn't use that right now the beast closed the door and walked away. she pulled out her phone as it started to ring, she answered it before looking at the number. it was Gray the first words out of his mouth where "are you okay?" she was stunned at first. when she didn't answer his anxiety spiked as he said, "Ember!"
