Ember glared at them as she said, "I thought I made myself pretty clear go away." and slammed the door. they tried knocking on the door again, Ember ignored them this time. Gray answered they told him to let them in. Gray raised an eyebrow at them as he thought 'why on earth would I let them in? Ember clearly doesn't want them in here and I don't want them near Ember so this works out great.'
Gray shook his head and said, "I'm smart enough to know not to make her mad. sorry you guys are on your own. though you kind of asked, for this I did tell you she can use my sword." Anna got Ember something to eat as Gray let them know all they are doing is making Ember madder. They continued to bang on the door until Ember pushed her way past them. They began to follow her and she began to run. after a while she lost them, she shook her head Annoyed by the two boys.
She started heading back when Demetrius found her. He grabbed her and flew off with her before she could run, he then passed her to Alexandra. as they flew off Ember saw Koda following them, she thought 'he must not have been too far away.' Soon Ember saw the thorns that protected sanctuary she pulled one of Alexandra's wings down and as they fell the thorns opened and they fell In the water. Alexandra caught Ember again quickly and flew off again before the thorns could close. As they flew the cold got to Ember and she passed out.
Meanwhile as Koda was chasing them, he passed the house he howled letting everyone know to get ready he had lost sight of them as he did. So, he followed the pull that always led him to Ember. When
