broken the treaty. he is going to try to fix this and get her back before I try to get her back." as Jack saw how many shifters came to help Gray, he was shocked. Alice looked at Jack and asked, "can we trust him to get her back? After all, he was on Ember's parents' side about her marrying a hunter." Jack said, "that was before the claim and before the treaty was involved. Ember made her choice when she accepted the claim. I will respect her choice in this and help Koda get her back." Gray said, "yes, we can trust him. He will help us get her back."
Jack was a little surprised Gray had said, he trusted him on this; he then realized he had begun to trust Gray as well. He then thought to himself, "when did that happen?" he shook his head and focused back on what was happening around him. Gray then turned to the shifters and yelled "let's move out." Jack started to lead but wasn't sure which of the headquarters she was taken to.
Gray mumbled to him "stay with me I can sense her this way." Gray followed the invisible string that always seemed to pull him to Ember. When they got there, they waited as Blake came out and alarms sounded. Jack flinched and asked, "how did you know she's here?" Gray glared at Blake and said, "I assume he's the one who took her."
Gray clenched his fists; it took everything he had not to just attack and take her back by force. Jack flinched at the amount of anger that was in Gray's voice. Gray couldn't believe they actually thought they could take her like that. Gray wanted to attack as the hunter's army moved out and in front of the building. Blake walked up to them with a couple guards, they were looking at Jack and Gray as they approached.
