know where my home is? I can't find it. I know it's in a small town, but I can't find it either."

Nanook got up and walked to the entrance and went out. Ember followed her while carrying Koda; she eventually walked beside Nanook and put her hand on Nanooks back. The pack followed as Nanook led Ember to her town. When they got there, Ember sat Koda down and said, "Thank you for helping me find my way back. Will I see you again." Nanook just looked at her and Ember said, "Well, how about you come here tomorrow, and we can play some more."

As Ember sat in the snow Gray watched her curiously as he did his head began to hurt as flashes of memories passed through his mind, he then saw a dark gray wolf and a wolf that was mostly gray but had black patches he knew they didn't belong to Kojak's pack or Koda's. Gray headed for Ember, He was almost to her when Ember opened her eyes, she heard someone gasp she turned to see Gray looking a little past her and at first, she thought he just saw Nanook as he ran over and pulled her away from the fence. He put himself between her and the wolves; she didn't see the two new wolves yet. She was about to tell him Nanook won't hurt her. Then she heard the growls of Koda's pack and a couple others.

Gray was pushing her back a little. She managed to move around just as the new male wolves started to run toward the fence. Koda's pack attacked as Ember ran to the fence and watched in horror. She was worried about them, but she couldn't do anything. After the fight the other wolves ran off and the pack didn't go after them there was no need; the message was clear this is not hunting grounds and it's this pack's land.
