Jack looked at Gray and said, "you need to stay calm. Let me talk to them okay." Gray looked at Jack and said, "handle this or I will." Jack flinched again as Gray looked back to Blake who was surprised to see Jack with the shifter army. Blake then asked, "Jack what are you doing here with these shifters?" Jack then said, "there has been a misunderstanding this is Koda and you have taken someone he has claimed."
Blake then said, "that's not possible we only have hunters here." Gray started to get madder as Jack told Gray "you need to stay calm." Jack turned to Blake again and said, "That's the thing the one he claimed is the daughter of a hunter but has not been trained it's the girl named Ember." Blake was surprised but kept it off his face; he couldn't believe the daughter of a hunter would accept being claimed by a shifter. So, he said, "how do we know what you say is true?"
Gray heard someone asking what was going on and one of the guards said, "there is an alpha claiming we took someone he claimed." the voice said, "that's not possible it would go against the treaty." then Jack said, "I witnessed the claim and so did a lot of these shifters. Ember has gained the respect of most of them here as well. if you don't give her back you will be in violation of the treaty." Blake said, "she's not here and in any case, I still don't believe she would accept a claim. She is a hunter; she doesn't need protection. what do you get out of it, shifter?" Gray got angry and yelled, "stop lying you have her here, I know she's here. now give her back or we will take her back." After he said that the pack began to growl and the army of shifters began to roar. Then he felt the string get shorter as he looked at the hunters.
