risked your safety like that not to save me." he looked at her and said, "why not?"

she looked away and laid back down with the covers over her head and said, "because I'm not worth saving." Before he could say anything, Evelyn walked in and said, "I thought you might be awake. I brought you guys some hot coco." They said, thanks Ember took hers and sat it on her nightstand before she laid back down and pulled the blankets over her head again. Gray wanted to ask more but knew he would only upset her more so he said, "I really must get home my mom and grandma are probably worried." Evelyn said, "but it's storming out there." He said, "I'll be fine."

Then Evelyn said, "why don't you just call them." He said, "we don't have a house phone, I don't even have a cell phone." Ember knew he had to get home and he was probably worried about them but she knew Evelyn wouldn't let him out without a way to call someone for help. so, she reached into her nightstand and pulled out her old cell phone and programmed her new number into it and tossed it to him and said, "follow the ropes between the houses and if you get lost or confused my number is in there. There should be time left on it." Evelyn started to argue but she said, "his grandma and mom need him there what if they run out of wood for their fireplace or the power goes out you don't want them to go out there do you."

Evelyn said, "no but I don't won't him going out their ether." Ember looked at Evelyn and said, "if he sticks to what I told him he has more of a survival rate then they do." Ember then looked at Gray and said, "call me when you get there okay." He smiled slightly and said, "okay I'll call you later." He left the room then leaving Evelyn and Ember in the same room alone.
