"Huh, now I should convince my babygirl first to get some information from the SuryaVanshi brothers!"
Before Jwalin walked away to follow Pranavi, he turned to Jathin, only to see Jathin's lips curved upward in an amusing smirk, as if he was enjoying Jwalin's misery.
Jwalin raised his brow with a narrowing gaze directed at Jathin but said nothing. Instead, He mouthed, "Give me a call if something happens."
Jathin nodded and in the very next instant, Jwalin disappeared from their sight making all of them chuckle. Deepak couldn't control himself and muttered, "He's so whipped to Sister-in-Law."
Jathin could only agree, as this is a fact they all are aware of. He responded, "Indeed."
Shreya's eyes crinkled seeing Jwalin and Pranavi. Despite being in a hospital, the environment turned sweet all of a sudden as they all sensed the affection and love Jwalin had for Pranavi.
In the next moment, a pang of sadness overwhelmed her when she thought about her future, which she had no idea how it would be or where it would take her. As her reality sunk in, her eyes gradually dimmed and lost their luster, which didn't go unnoticed by Jathin.
Arjun and Brijesh were exchanging glances when Jathin spoke, "You can leave if you want to. We can discuss everything once we're back home."
Arjun gave a stiff nod and signaled to Brijesh to leave as it wouldn't be very appropriate to stay when Pranavi wasn't there anymore.
...
Jwalin saw the silhouette of Pranavi walking towards the backside of the hospital and he silently followed her until they reached an empty place.
Seeing her so last in her thoughts, he couldn't help but call her softly when he was right beside her, "Baby girl?"
But to his dismay, he got no response!
He blinked his eyes in surprise as it was such a rare event for him to see this because Pranavi never fails to respond to his voice, even when she's fast asleep.
Jwalin wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her closer, his voice turned dulcet, lacing with a ting of worry, "Wifey? What happened?"
Pranavi sensed his amber cologne first, followed by his touch and voice, and she got pulled from her thoughts, "Jwalin?"
Jwalin hummed, and queried, "What's wrong? Did I really upset you?"
Pranavi moved away from his embrace, turned towards him, inhaled a chunk of air, and chided, her expression turning furious, "How can you try to get information by using me?"
Jwalin sighed, "Using you?"
Pranavi glared, and Jwalin shook his head while muttering, "I didn't mean to put you on the spot, Baby girl. I wanted information, YES. But I wouldn't put you at a loss for my information."
"You said you would make me agree. Isn't that a loss to me?" Pranavi questioned, unable to believe how shameless Jwalin was being right in that instant.
"I have my plans for saying that. I can add a few conditions and make it a more private event where you will be comfortable rather than a public one." Jwalin replied, raking his hands in his hair as the wind was messing with his locks.
Pranavi tucked her hair behind her ears, she stated firmly, her voice raising an octave, "I'm not ready, Jwalin. That's a very big step to take for me."
Jwalin nodded seeing the emotional turmoil she was in, "Alright. I'm sorry for saying that earlier."
Pranavi huffed, "A sorry isn't always going to fix everything Jwalin."
