At JN Residence
Jathin and Shreya's car comes to a halt making Shreya almost jolt in her seat as she's lost in her thoughts.
Glancing at her surroundings, she noticed the huge mansion in front of her and her jaw dropped in awe, too stunned to react.
"Am I going to stay here tonight?" She mentally questioned herself.
Jathin stared at her frozen appearance, her eyes were as wide as saucers, her mouth slightly hanging open making her look cuter despite the fatigue on her face.
Time seems to have taken a stop as she's lost in the beautiful house while Jathin is lost in her beauty.
Both of them hadn't said a word while she eagerly took in the extravagance of the house.
"Being middle-class must have limited my imagination!" Shreya quoted to herself when she saw the swimming pool, garden, and the bright lights adorning the mansion.
"Damn! She's fucking gorgeous!" Jathin inhaled and exhaled a chunk of air to get himself back in control while his gaze softened on her for the first time after they were married as these past few days had taken a toll on both of them and their emotions were all over the place.
The sound of Jwalin's car brought both of them from their reverie while Jathin had the sudden urge to smack himself for thinking that way and grumbled, his voice was so deep that made her core tingle, "Will you spend the rest of the night in the car?"
Shreya gulped and shook her head. Jathin raked his hair with his fingers and questioned, his tone mocking, "Then what are you waiting for instead of stepping down?"
Shreya fake coughed to cover her embarrassment and in her hurry to get her bag, her soft fingers touched Jathin's rough hand making both of them startle, her eyes zeroed in shock and she quickly jumped from the car.
"Wah! Why did she react as if I'm going to eat her alive?" Jathin mocked himself and got down from the car.
Upon seeing Shreya awkwardly glancing around, Jathin mumbled, "Let's go."
With that said, they both walked towards the main entrance where Jwalin and Pranavi stood to the side, as if they were waiting for them to come in.
Shreya turned to Jathin to understand what was going on while Jathin was equally puzzled, but they kept walking.
When they were finally about to step in, Pranavi stood in front of them with an aarti plate surprising them, a soft smile on her face.
"What's the need for all of this, Sister-in-law?" Jathin queried.
"Shreya is coming for the first time as your wife, Jathin. How can I not do this?" Pranvavi said and added, "Stand together!"
Jathin reluctantly pulled Shreya towards him and put her right beside him and Pranavi started giving them aarti.
After she was done, Jwalin and Pranavi said together, "Welcome home, Sister-in-law."
"JN Residence is as much your home as Oberoi Mansion, if not more!" Jwalin added with a soft smile making Shreya all warm and mushy. Her eyes turned a little red as she wasn't welcomed in this way in Oberoi Mansion.
Pranavi saw that and chided Jwalin, "You're making her emotional, Jwalin."
After they were done, Jwalin and Pranavi muttered, "We'll leave you alone now." With that said, they went to their room leaving Jathin and Shreya in the living hall.
Jathin released a sigh of relief and kept walking only to see Shreya standing there like a piece of log. With a huff, he went back and held Shreya's hand and took her to his room which is on the first floor with a poker face on his face, while Shreya turned red!
