Inside the office, Ajax's agent Willow was quietly leafing through his manuscripts.

Ajax remained anxious as he waited for her to finish reading the draft. And, once Willow was done, she looked at Ajax's face thoughtfully.

"I have to be honest with you," she began to say. "This is good work."

"Really?"

"Yeah, but..." Willow hesitated to continue what she was going say.

"But, what?" Ajax asked anxiously.

Willow looked at him intently as if carefully trying to construct the right words to communicate her feedback.

"It is missing something..." she once again was hesitating.

"Missing what?" Ajax impatiently asked.

"I love a good mystery and all. But where are the love angle, romance, and passion? You should at least add these dimensions to your characters. Remember, our target demographics are mostly young adults. You have to consider adding these elements to your storylines to gain more visibility or just add sex to make it more engaging."

"The plot in itself is good." Ajax countered.

"I can't deny that."

Then, Willow paused and silently stared into Ajax's eyes. Ajax being temperamental that he was, got up and motioned to leave.

"Okay, I think, I can have this serialized. I will draft the contract and send it to you later."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Thank you, Willow." And after saying that, Ajax left the room.

As he walked down the hall, he saw a guy coming from the other direction heading his way.

"You're here." The guy said excitedly when he was less than six feet away from Ajax.

The guy was about the same age as Ajax. He was as tall as Ajax. And, he had the same smooth white complexion as Ajax.

"I'm leaving." Ajax annoyingly replied. "Why are you here, anyway?"

"Haven't you heard? They are publishing my new novel. My last web series got sixty percent of the market share." He boasted.

"Silas!" Willow cheerfully shouted as she interrupted the young men.

"Hello, Willow." Silas greeted the agent back cheerfully as well.

"You know, you could have just sent your manuscript via email?"

"I know. But I was nearby so I decided to drop by, anyway."

"You two know each other?"

Both guys answered Willow at the same. Ajax said 'no' while Silas answer 'yes'.

"Are you two fighting?"

Silas looked straight into Ajax's eyes while Ajax avoided meeting Silas' stare. Ajax then said 'goodbye' to Willow, and he walked past Silas without saying anything.
