Ajax lives a mundane life.
Then, one day, he meets North.
And, it seems they are starting to fall in love.
The problem is that only Ajax can see North.
A supernatural boy's love story.
Ajax could not understand why he was feeling so perturbed that North was gone. It was all just too weird for him to ignore what had happened to him for the last 24 hours.
Last two days ago, Ajax turned twenty-one years old. The night that Huntley was waiting for him with their high school buddies, it was actually Huntley's birthday treat for Ajax. However, Ajax did not want to celebrate his birthday at all.
Ajax grew up in an orphanage. There was no clue who he was or any clue that might lead who his parents were.
Exactly, two days and twenty one years ago, Ajax was found at the front door of the orphanage. And, that day became his birth date.
The summer before Ajax entered middle school, he was adopted by Huntley's family. Huntley was not only Ajax's best friend, Huntley was Ajax's brother as well.
Though, Huntley was only a month and six days older than Ajax's known birth date, Huntley had always taken the role as Ajax's big brother.
Thus, when Ajax told Huntley he might gay, Huntley was not surprised. In fact, he had known for quite sometime that Ajax was gay. And yet, Huntley's love for his best friend and brother never changed.
In fact to further protect Ajax, Huntley made sure no one knew that they were brothers, not even, Silas. Their classmates only found out about their true relationship during their high school graduation day.
It was Ajax's wish to keep his relation with Huntley private. At first, Huntley was annoyed and thought that Ajax was ashamed to be his brother. But, he respected Ajax's request even he did not know Ajax's reason behind the request.
The day that Ajax told Huntley he was gay was the same day he told Huntley the reason why he did not want others to know they were brothers. He told Huntley that he was afraid that his sexual orientation might tarnished Huntley and his parents' reputation.
Huntley could care less about what other people think of him. Still, he thanked Ajax for loving him and their family so much that Ajax was sacrificing his own happiness for their sake.
But, Huntley said to Ajax that he should be who he wanted to be. And that as his big brother, he should be the protecting Ajax and their family and not the other way around.
That same night, Ajax told his parents that he was gay. His parents accepted him wholeheartedly. All throughout that incident, Huntley was at Ajax's side.
