Everyone was shocked even the two kings could not believe that a mere prince could have that power over the Council of Regents. It was only Regent Iollan who was not surprised that Prince Luca would invoke this right, after all, he handed him to the prince of Aeolian clan that right when he begged him to become the emissary for this case.
"Does anyone oppose?" Prince Luca said as he held up the stroll for all to see.
No one dared oppose him as the stroll was a binding agreement between him and Regent Iollan. And, the decision of one regent was the collective decision of all.
The seven presiding High Councils stepped out of their chairs while prince of Aeolian clan sat in the middle seat. He waited for the seven council to be seated among their peers before he began to speak.
"Now that is settle, let us begin the true inquisition."
The prince of Aeolian looked at the king of the Phoenix clan and then he looked at the king of the Vatr clan.
"Does the king of the Vatr clan has anything to say?"
"Yes," King L'Nykt began to say. "It maybe true that there is only one Iolite stone that exists in Adamah. However, I believe that Iolite stone is a forgery."
"Really?" Prince Luca replied. "Why did you say that?"
"If the prince would not mind, can I see the stone?"
"Certainly."
