59. Old Friends

When Henry stepped out the lobby of the hospital, Illac called him.

"There you are." Illac began to say. "As always, you are a creature of habit." Illac insulted Henry. "And, that what makes you weak."

"Weak?" Henry said. "I'm not a heartless monster like you."

"I get it ... blah ... blah ..." Illac retorted. "So, I've been told."

Illac went beside Henry and patted Henry's buttocks.

"I miss this." Illac said as he squeezed it hard as he tried to kiss Henry on the left cheek.

Henry jumped away from Illac's lewd advances.

"Dammit, Illac." Henry replied irritably.

"Okay." Illac replied. "Aren't we so uptight?"

"What do you want?"

"Wow, so cold." Illac teased. "The Star Child, of course."

"Of course." Henry said. "I don't have it."

"Of course, you don't." Illac amicably said. "But, you have the next best thing."

"What?"

"The keeper, of course."

Henry tried to keep a straight face as not to reveal anything.

"I do not know what you are talking about."

"Like the moth obsession with the flame, so is the Star Child to the keeper." Illac metaphorically said. "You know, damn well, why I am here in this forsaken wasteland. The Star Child had awaken."

"Oh, I thought your master got bored of his lap dog and decided to exile you here."

"Why you ..."

Henry became a blur and then he was gone before Illac could finish what he was going to say.

Henry knew that though he had recovered his strength, he was not yet in his fully power to do a one-on-one combat with Illac. Besides, he needed to go back to the cave to tend to Addy and North.

"How rude." Illac said smiling.

Unknown to Henry, when Illac squeezed his buttocks, Illac did it to destruct him. He planted a bug in Henry's hoodie's pocket.

The tracer would lead Illac to his hiding place.
