52. Back in the Room

Ajax was awakened. He was in the room again where he last saw North.

He immediately looked for North and he saw him tied up on the chair. Ajax patted North's cheeks.

"Wake up." Ajax said. "Wake up."

"He will not wake up." Ajax turned around and saw Thorn.

"Is he dead?"

"Interesting, he could see the bastard North." Thorn thought.

"Of course, I can see him. Are you stupid or what?"

Thorn was taken aback that Ajax could hear his thoughts.

"No. He is just in deep sleep. I cast a spell on him."

"Why? Who are you? What is this place? How come I am back in this room?"

"Whoa ... whoa ... chill. So many questions."

"Answer me!"

The black metal cube began to shake on top of table. Sacha was watching it.

"This is bad." He said.

Inside the room, it began to quake.

Ajax looked closely at Thorn.

"Aren't you the coffee shop owner?"

"I am Thorn, Grand Magus of Adamah." Thorn began to say dramatically. "North is my prisoner. And, now, you."

"Oh ... am I dreaming again?"Ajax said. "What was I doing before I got here?"

"I assure you, this is not a dream."

"Yeah right." Ajax said ignoring Thorn.

Thorn became annoyed by Ajax's dismissive attitude.

"Tximista!"

He cried out loud and thunderbolt came out from his ring. Ajax could see the stripe of pure electricity coming his way. It was going to be a direct collision to him and North.

Immediately, he moved in front North, grabbed him and move out of harms way. The chair exploded into pieces and fragments shattered all over the room. Ajax landed on his back on the floor holding North.

"Tximista!"

Thorn summoned another thunderbolt.

Ajax quickly rolled his body as well as North's away from the thunderbolt.

"Tximista!"

This time Ajax was not quick enough as the thunderbolt was about to North. He turned around and his back got hit by the lightening as he covered North from it.
