WITH HIS POWER STILL IMPOTENT, THORN knew whatever trickery he had in his sleeves would not work. He may fool the child king due to his age and inexperience, however, he knew he could never Addy who was one of the most powerful magus in the Aeolian clan. He also knew that North would easily see through his schemes. After all, they both grew up together and North had plenty of practice recognizing his tricks.
For the time being, Thorn heeded Sacha council and totally conceded in helping his enemies.
Thorn instructed Addy all the preparation before the incantation could be performed. Luckily, Addy had all the ingredients needed in his laboratory to create the potion to remove the poison spell from North's astral body.
After an hour had passed, they were ready to perform the incantation. Half and half of the potion was given to North as well to Thorn. The brothers drank the liquid and recited the incantation.
"Utzi erroiak inprimaki honetatik erabat kanporatua. Inprimaki hau guztiz sendatu." (Let the venom be expelled from this form completely. Let this form heal completely.)
North and Thorn said unison three times. Then, they waited. It seemed that the potion and incantation were ineffective. However, after a minute, both brothers began to convulsed.
"Damn it, Thorn tricked us!"
Henry's eyes and right hand glowed in color purple. He was about to cast an attack through the Mirror of Medusa but Addy used his body to block Henry.
"Henry, no!" Addy stopped Henry. "You can't harm Thorn as he is now connected to North. If you kill Thorn, you will end up killing North as well. The potion created a link between their life forces."
"Fuck!" Henry exclaimed as he composed himself.
Moments after Henry and Addy could see that worm-like creatures were crawling out North's astral form. They looked into the Mirror of Medusa and saw the same was happening to Thorn. As soon as those worm-like creatures left the hosts' body, they vaporized and turned into black smoke.
"Henry, it is working."
Then, after a few more seconds, it was over.
"It is done." Thorn said weakly.
