51. Simultaneousness

The moment when time stopped, Addy told Henry to scour the region and locate the source of the great disturbance.

Addy and Henry had been living in the same region where Ajax lived for almost five years. He had been descrying for the faint residuum of the Star Child's life force since they arrived on Earth. However, his tracing spell was always being thwarted by a powerful enchantment than his.

Until two months ago, the shield that was surrounding the Star Child disappeared. And, the Star Child's growing power were like footprints becoming more visible as days passed by.

Addy knew that the Star Child was coming of age or might had come of age already. He must contain its power before it reached its maximum potential.

Both Addy and Henry knew all too well that they had only few seconds before time resumed. In that 60th part of a minute, they must locate the Star Child.

Henry's special ability was speed. In a blink of an eye, he could move from one point to another.

Like a blur, he searched every district of the region. And, it led him to Ajax's apartment where he sensed an astronomical inrush of raw force. When he reached the stairs leading to Ajax's apartment, time resumed. He could no longer sense the Star Child's presence.

Since that moment, Henry began trailing Ajax. And, the night when the beam of light shoot brightly from Ajax's apartment, Henry was keeping an eye on Ajax from outside the coffee shop.

Thus, when Henry arrived at Ajax's apartment, the source of beam was gone. He was about to enter Ajax's apartment, however, Addy telepathically summoned him back to the resort.

Addy sensed that there were individuals much powerful than Henry surrounding the area. And, he did want his lover to be placed in any danger. For, Addy was not sure if they were allies or foes.
