The youngest prince of the Phoenix, Rowan, was standing in front of the mirror as his esquires dressed him for battle.

His beautiful eyes stared blankly at his own reflection. And, his thoughts were elsewhere.

He was standing in the Field of the Fireflies as he did earlier and restructured in his mind what might had happened with his brother in the field.

"It was a few minutes when the sun retired from the horizon, when my brother arrived here."

Rowan looked at the horizon, the sun stopped just beneath where the light and darkness in the horizon converged.

"At that time, it was raining heavily."

The sound of the rain intensified and the rain kept pouring down.

"My brother was approximately standing of there,"

He pointed the location with his left hand where he imagined his brother would be standing. And, Helios appeared in the field.

"And, the esquire was here,"

He pointed the location where he imagined the esquire using his other hand. The esquire appeared, a foot away from where Rowan was standing.

"And the raining poured madly on the field."

The water froze in mid-air and everywhere and the sound of the rain disappear.

Rowan, first, observed the esquire. True that the esquire was less ten meters away from his brother. That, even if the sound of the pouring rain was deafening, the esquire could not hear what was happening even if he was in close proximity to his brother.

"So, how could the esquire hear my brother's cry so easily." Rowan began to say. "And, if it was raining heavily, how could he easily see who my brother was having an altercation with when in fact it would be nearly impossible to keep one's eyes open at such downpour?"

Rowan, then, moved besides his brother and looked at the ground where his brother stood.

"It's been raining for days now. The earth is heaviky soaked in water, therefore, the field would be muddy and flooded. My brother surely will see Prince North as he approached him because it would be nearly impossible to walk easily on a muddy and flooded field."

Rowan went out the chamber of his mind and found himself looking at his reflection on the mirror.

"Everything is a lie, then." He said to himself.

"Please leave us." King Nike said as he entered his son's room.

Immediately, the esquires left the room and it was last esquire who closed the door.

"How are you doing?" The king asked. "You look pale."

"I am doing well, my king."

Rowan could not tell the king of his speculation without proof. However, time was running and the hour was upon them to march to the land of the Vatr.
