Luca was contemplating on the things that he had heard. He looked at Iollan for a bit before he began to talk.
"Surely, a man's tale is his own. How can we be certain that with absolute surety that what the esquire says is the truth?"
Iollan took out something from the pocket of his robe. It was a ring. He placed it on the table. Luca took hold of the ring and examined it.
"This is an Iolite stone."
"Indeed!" Iollan replied. "And, the only person who has that kind of stone is Prince North."
Luca continued to look at the ring. "So, how did you obtain this?"
"When the esquire woke up, he went back to the palace. He informed King Nike about what happened. The king of the Phoenix ordered his men, headed by Prince Rowan to scour the Field of the Fireflies for evidence. And, this ring is what they had found."
"Interesting." Luca said as he placed the ring on the table. "So, what does King Nike implored the Council to do?"
"Actually, King Nike already order his son, Prince Rowan to march with their soldiers into the Vatr land."
"I see." Luca said. "And, how does the Council see Aeolian role in all of this?"
"The Regency wants the Aeolian clan to be come the emissary and mediate for the peaceful resolution of this conflict between two clans."
"And, how about the Forest clan, where does their clan fit in all this ruckus?"
"We can deal with them later. The Regency's priority is the prevent the war between these two clans."
"This affair is for his Majesty, King Henry to decide whether our clan should intervene on the conflict between the Phoenix and the Vatr."
"My prince, I know that. However, since the young king, is on his quest, and, you were given the sole authority to act on his behalf, the Regency implore the Aeolian clan, nay, you my Prince, to provide us this service. You relations with King Nike and King L'Nykt will be a substantial advantage in resolving this conflict."
