Ajax lives a mundane life.

Three days had passed since the explosion in the mountain.
Huntley had not yet regain consciousness. This played to Illac's advantage as he asked Tanner to pretend that he was Huntley's lover.
No one in the hospital suspect otherwise. Tanner, even, convinced the police that he and Huntley were lover's. It was easy for Tanner to convinced the local authorities as Huntley's identification cards where in his wallet which conveniently for Tanner all went out flames in the explosion. Besides, no one came forward to claim responsibility for Huntley except Tanner.
Meanwhile, back in the cave, Henry had recovered all his strength after a day of deep slumber. Addy, though, had regained consciousness, he was still in a weakened state as the whole thing had taken a big toil on his body. He continued to sleep so he could fully recuperate.
North, on the other hand, remained unconscious.
Somewhere in the tropic part of the region, Rahel was cooking porridge up in a tree house. He removed the pot from the earthen stove.
He put the soup in the bowl, placed it on a tray and brought it to a room. The room had string of beads serving as its door partition from the rest of the house.
Laying bare chested on the bamboo bed covered with blanket from the waist down was Ajax.
Ajax was totally naked underneath the covers. He had bandage wrapped around his head. And, his lustrous black hair had turned into gold.
Rahel had been nursing him back to health since he found him by the stream southward where the tree house was.
"Wake up." Rahel said. "You need to eat to get your strength back.
Ajax woke up at the sound of Rahel's voice. Rahel helped Ajax sit up before he fed him his meal.
"Eat well. So, you can fully recover." Rahel's voice was so soothing almost hypnotic even. "We have so much to talk about you and I. I know, you have a lot questions. But, all in time."
Rahel paused and smile.
