62. Frustration

Riley, somewhat, was the same height and built as his Uncle Max. Illac, at 175 centimeters in height, looked petite being sandwiched by these two Spartan like-specimen.

The door opened and Tanner stepped inside the diner. He saw what was happening behind the counter.

"Illac, its time to go!" Tanner was pissed off.

"Tanner," Illac replied. "Come on, let's have some fun."

"No!" Tanner, then, stepped out of the diner and went straight to his truck.

In less than a sixty seconds, Tanner could see Illac from the right mirror approaching the vehicle. Illac was reluctant to leave Max and Riley, however, Tanner was correct. Illac needed to get to Henry before Henry found out he put a bug on him.

Huntley was walking down the stream. As he continued to walked upstream, he could hear soft indistinct voices calling his name. He looked around and could not see anyone. The voices became louder, however, all he could he was incoherent chattery. The voices were coming from all directions.

The noise became intensely intolerable as Huntley tried to block the sound by covering his ears. It became physically painful for Huntley to bare it as blood began to come out of his ears.

Upon seeing blood on his hands, Huntley panicked. He tried to scream but no sound came out from his mouth. He continued screaming as tears began to fall from his tears. But, no matter how hard he tried scream his voice would not come out.

Huntley dropped on knees on the ground frustrated and helpless. He looked skyward trying with all his might to shout but still nothing. He hung his head down for a brief moment.

When he lifted his head, he saw, a foot or two away from him, a guy laying down on his stomach on the ground by the stream. He went to help the guy and went he flip him over, it Ajax.

Ajax was dead.

Huntley screamed in anguish and despair as wailed. However, no sound came out of his mouth.
