When Amity woke up, again, she was in fourth period. Math. Carl was right in front of her, gazing at her, breathing heavily. "Afternoon my gorgeous lady. How are you?" He cooed.
Amity reflectivity kicked forward, hi- tting him dead center, then kicked him back and to the floor. She sat up, then looked around, "Spencer where's Luz at..?" Amity mumbled, pulling her glasses down.
The male by her sat up properly, "She went to the bathroom, why?"
"Again..?" Amity grumbled, rubbing her eyes. "Did she look okay..?"
He nodded, "Yeah she looked like Luz. Why?"
"Ask me why again and you'll see why people shouldn't ask me questions, Olarf 2.0." Amity hissed. "Keep me up dude..Everytime I fall asleep and look for Luz, she's gone.."
He nodded, "Will do."

She fell asleep again. When she woke up, again, Amity was in Luz's bed. The human was under the covers, a dog by her side, Amilotl asleep under her arm, no mask, glasses on the bedside table, her shoes off, her hair undone, and a warm meal on the corner of the bed.
Amity groggily sat up, running her hand through her hair, yawning. The dog scrambled up, laying back down, flipping over, and looking up at her. His tail began to wag, Amity ruffling his fur, "Hey Prince..Where's Luz?"
"Down stairs. She 'll be up in a few."
"Thank you, such a good boy." Amity cooed, kissing his head.
He licked her palm, resting his head on the bed, Amity pulling her hand back. She carefully pulled the lunch bed tray over, moving it over herself, picking up the fork. That's when she noticed. A mini Calzone. On a tiny plate.
Amity carefully picked it up, the mini Calzone being at least the size of those slices of pizza your teacher cuts on those parties. You know what I'm talking about, right? Those thin slices you get, and only that one slice? That was it, except it was the thicker part of the pizza.
Then Amity noticed another thing. It was actually a fortune cookie. She frowned, cracking the decorated trick cookie open, taking the little paper out. She unwrapped the paper, and read it, "If you see the little bell, ring it! I'll be up in a jiffy. -Luz :D"
Amity looked around, Amilotl getting up, stretching out by her. "Amilotl, can you go get that bell for me?" Amity asked it, pointing to the desk.
It looked up, nodded, then randomly teleported over. "Ring it, yeah?"
Amilotl circled the bell, and picked it up with it's tail. It shook itself, the bell ringing. Pots clanked downstairs, footsteps coming up. Luz peeked in to the room, "Hm?"
"What did you want to talk about at school?" Amity asked, using the spoon to get some broth, putting the meat on it with the fork.
Luz entered the room, going over to Amilotl, picking it and the bell up, then went to Amity, sitting by her on the bed. "Did you ever find out the thing?"
Amity stiffened. She did. She found out why their were random magic pulses at her house. "Uhm yeah. Emira was just messing with light spells and whatnot. Just wanted to see if she could change anything." Amity mumbled, shrugging lightly.
Luz nodded slowly, "Right." Luz said in a slightly bitter tone. "Then kindly explain why I haven't gotten shocked."
Amity looked up at her, "What?"
"I made an oath with Emira. If she did magic without me, I'd get shocked. So explain to me Amity, why haven't I gotten shocked? Or, do you not trust me enough?" Luz hissed, getting up. "Are we not friends or what? Are you using me? Do you even like hanging out with me? Do you Amity?"
The human shook her head, Luz gently shaking her. "Amity? Are you okay?" Luz asked quietly.
*Daydream gone wrong, it's over now
She snapped out of her own mind, glancing up at Luz. Amity teared up a bit, looking back down at her food, "I uhm.." Amity wiped away her tears. "I don't.."
Luz cupped her cheek, "It's okay. I trust you to tell me when you're good and ready." Luz nodded. "Just don't keep that secret for too long."
Amity put her hand over Luz's, moving it over to her mouth, kissing her palm, then nuzzling it, more tears gathering in her eyes. Luz used her other hand to wipe her cheek, Amity hiccuping quietly. "I want to tell you.. But I don't at the same time..A-And I'm scared you'll get mad at me for not saying anything.." Amity said silently.
"I'm not mad at you Amity.." Luz said. "You shouldn't be scared..And you know, whatever happens..We'll be there, for eachother..Okay?"
Amity nodded slowly, her lips quiver- ing, the human trembling. "Okay.."
Luz moved the bed table aside, Prince and Amilotl getting it to the floor, then leaving. Luz sat in Amity's lap, hugging the human, "You've bottled up alot Amity..You're safe here with me.."
The human hiccuped, wrapping her arms around Luz, crying in to her shoulder. The witchling shushed her, rubbing her back, "Let it out Amity, I won't be leaving you..You'll always be safe with me.."
Sadly, that won't be the case for much longer..Rest well you two, there is a long week ahead of you- A dog barked downstairs, then a man screamed, "FEUER! FEUER! MATTIAS ATTACKE!"
"..I'm sure he'll be fine." Luz said, gently squeezing Amity.
The hiss of a fire extinguisher took the screams of panic, then silence followed it. Amity giggled, Luz sighing quietly, "There goes my lunch.."
To be continued.
