Amity had done it. She found Luz's house. Well, her old one. "Which way now.." Amity looked around. "Was it this way..?"

Luz sniffed the ground, digging a hole, her tail wagging swiftly. "I FOUND IT!!"

"Found what?"

The bunny pulled out a bug, laying it on the pavement, then she squashed it. The bug, was a maybug. Luz ate up the remains, a puff of smoke surrounding her, the witch lying back in the grass. "Wha--" Amity looked at the bug blood, then up at Luz. "Luz-"

The witch checked the hole, digging around a bit, pulling out another bug, "Open."

"What- Ew- No-"

Luz forced the Maltipoo's mouth to open, shoving the maybug down her throat. "There."

Amity reflectively swallowed, gagging as a puff of smoke surrounded her. She shuddered, Luz continuing to look through the hole. "These are so hard to find, especially on the isles. I think they're extinct at home..Help me find more!"

"Thirty two." Luz pushed the dirt back over the hole. "Thank you."

Amity closed the jar, Luz putting it in her space, getting up. "Where to now?" Amity asked, patting herself down.

Luz stretched out, sighing sharply, her ears perking up. "Want to go check?"

"Uh..We are already here.." Amity hummed, then shrugged. "Sure."

Luz took her hand, leading the way through the forest, the leaves crunching under them. "What was it like when you came out, Luz?" Amity asked.

"It was actually amazing, the air was clean, so many animals were super cute, and I met Camilla." Luz smiled up at her, walking over the fallen log.

Amity followed her over it, both continuing to walk through the forest. And eventually, they reached the little cabin, which was sanitized and rid of blood. "It's nice.." Amity mumbled.

"It is isn't it? The inside is a mess, but the outside is homey." Luz walked over to it, her ears perking up. "You can go look around inside if you'd like."

Amity lightly shrugged, going up the steps, walking inside. "Coming in?"

"I want to heal these flowers, I'll be right here." Luz crouched down by the flower bed, lifting up one of the wilting flowers. "I'll be fine."

Amity nodded, going upstairs to a destroyed bathroom. Glass was still shattered on the floor, dust bunnies on every single surface, even some dead bugs. Amity searched the house, many of the hung or fallen pictures being fraile and old.

After about ten minutes, Amity came back out, and shivered. "Are you okay?" Amity asked Luz, who was still by the flowers.

"Yes I am, thank you." Luz smiled, getting up. "They'll heal nicely."

The bushes were rattled, Luz moving to be by Amity, "Might be a rat.." Luz mumbled.

"Well, it looks like nothing has changed. Ready to go home?" Amity asked.

Luz nodded, Amity leading the way out of the trees. Luz glanced back at the bush, growing weary, "Please work.."

The being in the bush grew aggressive and agitated, kicking about in it. A man in white with a mask that was distinctively shaped like a bird walked out, nodding. Luz flinched, rushing after Amity. The human glanced around at the trees, shivering again, looking down at Luz, "Are you sure you're okay?"

"I am, thank you Amity. I promise you I'm alright." Luz smiled.

Amity shivered again, "The truth please, Luz.."

"Maybe holding my hand will make me feel better." Luz teased, holding her hand out.

Amity took Luz's hand, kissing her knuckles, "Ay amor..I love you, you know that right?"

"Yes Amity." Luz mumbled, her face heating up. "I love you too.."

Amity squeezed her hand, walking over the tree, "Want me to walk you home?" Amity asked.

"Please." Luz nodded.

Amity blew on her left hand, her phone appearing in it, the human unlocking it and pulling up maps. "It's that way." Amity pointed right. "We'll be walking for a bit, but I don't suppose you'd like to go have a bite on the way, would you?"

"I would love to." Luz giggled, kissing Amity's hand. "I'll let you pick what I should eat today."

"Then let's hurry before it starts to rain, I know how much you hate the thunder." Amity looked up at the darkening sky, walking towards the street.

Luz glanced down, smiling softly, adjusting her hand in Amity's, "Let's."

"I'll see you tomorrow Amity." Luz waved, opening the door, entering her house, blowing the human a kiss. "I love you."

Amity nodded, "I love you too Cariño."

Luz smiled, closing the door, walking inside. She pulled out a paper from her pocket, examining it's contents. "Prince, has anyone been over?" Luz asked aloud.

"Yes yes yes!" The dog rushed out of his room, going over to Luz, about to get on her thigh. "Wha- Who?" He sniffed Luz out, backing up. "Luz..?"

"It's me buddy, I was just outside looking for stuff in the dirt." Luz crouched down, smiling. "Te lo prometo."

Prince jumped in to her lap, licking her face, "So craziest thing happened! I was digging-"

To be continued.
