Flashback is over

Luz was awoken by an abrupt shake, the witchling shooting up. "Amity.." Luz said quietly.

The human sighed heavily in relief, hugging Luz tightly. She pulled back, kissing Luz's head, "I'm going to kill you for scaring me that badly. W-Willow said she found you unconscious in class and I freaked out and I sent Gary and I panicked--" Amity sighed sharply, kissing Luz's forehead.

The witch was cherry faced. These didn't seem platonic anymore.."I-I didn't mean to-"

Amity covered her nose and mouth with her elbow, sneezing. "Oh geez.." The human mumbled.

"Bless you." Luz giggled.

"Ugh..Thanks.." Amity groaned, taking a tissue from above Luz. "God I hate getting sick.."

Amity was on top of Luz, well, kinda. She was partially sitting in Luz's lap, but since she's taller, Luz would have to look up at her. "How'd you get sick Amity?" Luz asked.

The human sneezed again, wiping her nose, Luz saying bless you again. "I had a hot shower..Then I went out in the cold because Emira wanted to show me something.." Amity groaned, her voice all gross and hoarse. "Kill me now..!"

"Wait you just kissed me! I'm going to get sick!" Luz huffed, then she froze. "Wait- Where's- Where's Oscura-"

"Who..?" Amity muttered.

"T-There was a witch! She was me! And scary-"

Amity pointed to the bedside table, Luz looking over, picking up the envelope. She flipped it over, then opened it. Luz carefully pulled the paper out, opening it, "To whom reads this. ---- you and your human friend who broke Tempest's antler that made us look like idiots during our escape :D –Oscura"

Luz frowned, folding it, then handing it to Amity. The human took it, and read it. She ripped it, stuffing it in the envelope, crumbling it, and throwing it in the trash. Score. Amity fell to the side, groaning, "Damnitttt...Iiii haatee headachesssssss.."

The witchling layed down by Amity, caressing her cheek, "We have to talk, Amity.."

"WHAT!?"

"I'm telling you Amity! She's me!" Luz repeated. "She's out there! I don't know where but she's out there!"

The human paced around the room, covering her mouth and coughing, "I don't get it though Luz. She's the one that hurt your family, which I'm now wondering why, and she's coming for you." Amity said, coughing again. "It's a type of coy.."

Luz got up, going over to her, taking her hands, Amity coughing in to her elbow. "..You should lay down, Amity.. You'll get worse.."

The human pulled back, coughing, "I-I can take care of myself- I'm okay." Amity said, going to her desk. "She's up to something Luz."

The witch went over to her, "Amity please lie down. I'm still listening, you can vent there." Luz said, taking her hand, gripping it tightly. "Please."

The human shook her head, taking the medicine, checking the time first. She put it back down, sighing heavily, her sigh hoarse and icky. "Why are you so calm about this.."

"Because I know we can do this."

"..Together..?"

Luz nodded, "Together."

After convincing Amity to lie down, Luz went to make her caldo. A quick one with the ingredients that were ready. She took the warm food up, carefully opening the door, going over to Amity. The human sat up, Luz placing the bed tray over her.

Amity adjusted how it was placed, "I need you to eat all of it. Or at least all of the broth." Luz said.

"..Hm. If you say so." Amity shrugged, picking the spoon up. "Have you already eaten?"

Luz paused, "What you don't finish, I will."

Amity raised a brow, "What if I finish it?"

"You get to decide how much I get myself."

Amity took a bit of broth, drank it, and put her spoon down. "Here. I'm done."

Luz took the spoon from her, using the fork and getting some of the meat on the spoon. She cautiously got some broth on it as well, holding it out to Amity, "You need energy, caldo makes you feel better, you did this to me, and now it's my turn. Open."

Amity looked away, huffing. "No."

The witch hummed, "If you finish the caldo, I'll give you an actual kiss-"

Amity snatched the spoon and fork, picking the bowl up and immediately getting started on her meal.

Amity had burned herself. So she had to wait an extra two hours before she could get her kiss. But it's now 6:13 pm. And Amity was fooled. Luz put a Kiss in Amity's palm, closing it over the candy. "..Thanks.." Amity muttered as she now secretly hated Luz for the lie.

Luz kissed her cheek, "You are very welcome. I have to get going now, Mattias and Ay are visiting." Luz said, going to the room door, opening it up. "They want to know what a middle class home looks like."

Amity was frozen in her place. If she gave Luz a Smershey's Kiss, would she be able to kiss Luz, and vice versa? Could she make this a thing now? Trade a Kiss for a kiss? "Goodnight Amity, I'll see you at school tomorrow." Luz said, waving, then disappearing behind the door.

It was closed, Luz's footsteps fading away. Amity felt her cheek. She also now realized, these didn't feel that platonic anymore. Amity paced around in a hurry, cursing to herself a multitude of times, "I can't- This witch is going to be the end of me I swear." Amity cursed again. "I'm with Noah. I only need Noah."

Silence. "Am I bi?" Amity paused, then rushed to her door. "EMIRA!"
