Cruddlesticks.. [8 part 2]

Faith had uploaded the video, but, had also exposed Luz during it. At one point, Amilotl used a mini fireball to try and burn Noah from the inside. But instead missed, catching a table on fire. Luz quickly put it out with a bunch of ice spells, but, Faith caught it all on video. Luz was then taken home by Camilla, and hid.

Luz, Boscha, and Viney, stayed in the secret basement while police ransack- ed the house. Then, when they left, Luz realized, the other her is still out there. But, let's go to how Luz's friends reacted to this.

Grace. When she turned the news on, just returning from her shift, she heard, Luz. So Grace, thinking it was something good, stayed and watched. Til it was shown Luz doing magic. No special effects, even random people were suprised when they saw it in person.

Venom waddled on over, watching the TV. When the reporter finally signed off, he exposed himself. He lowered his head, shaking his body, completely shocking Grace, making her back in to a corner.

He kept her quiet, and explained in perfect detail, what he learned about himself, and Luz. He explained that Luz doesn't hurt people, she isn't a danger, she's good, not a monster. Grace stayed to understand, but was still rather terrified of her companion.

She stuttered while trying to speak, "Is this why my house is always clean when it shouldn't be?-" Grace asked in a hurry.

Venom nodded, "That's also why your food tastes good, why you have the right ingredients, bubbly soap, I love the bubbly soap." Venom pointed to the sink. "But Grace, Luz wouldn't hurt anyone. She found me outside her house, helped me out, when you dropped me off, she let me be myself around her family."

Grace softened, "Well..Since I know now..You can stay how you'd like.." She said quietly. "B-But they're going after her- Will she be okay?-"

Venom drew back, lowering his head, "I.." He paused. "I'm not sure.."

Grace got up, taking a deep breath, "I have had you help out for three years, now it's my turn. Let's go to Luz."

He lit up, his tail wagging swiftly.

When Joey found out. He always has the news on, they keep it in the back room though, just in case. When he heard Luz, they stopped what they were doing, (texting Bailey), and went to watch the news.

He wasn't surprised actually, Amity had slipped up a few times in front of him so they already kinda guessed it. But Joey got his jacket, keys, locked up the store, and headed to her house.

Sarah. The second she turned on her phone to check the evening news, it said Luz. Sarah, being Luz's third mom, maybe fourth, knew something was wrong, didn't wait for the reporter to say another word. She gathered her things, left Zach with the neighbor, got in her car, and drove.

Cheryl. When she was up in the break room, eating dinner, she saw Luz on the TV. She spit out her baloney sandwich, a few of her workers looking up at what caught her attention.

When Cheryl saw Luz, looking fairly panicked, she rushed to dress out, gather her things, and left the store.

Those who already knew, sent many texts, asking if she was okay. The rest who found out, were at a loss. They didn't want to text her quite yet.

But, at around ten (10) pm, the older friends Luz had, came over. The witch used an Illusion to answer the door, an illusion of Camilla. When Luz saw it was her friends, she called back the Illusion, sighing quietly.

Joey came in first, hugging her tightly, Luz completely relaxing in his grasp. They held her up, the witchling crying quietly in their chest, "It's okay love bug, we don't hate you.." Joey said quietly. "We love you no matter what, you'll always be Luz to us.."

He kissed her head, shushing her. Luz clenched on to their shirt, Joey pickin- g her up, taking her inside. He sat her down on the counter, wiping her tears, "We'd like to know the story, if you wouldn't mind..?"

Luz nodded slowly, "You guys deserve to know.." Luz mumbled. "Just don't tell anyone.."

Joey kissed her head, "Wouldn't dream of it."

Luz spilled everything, but left out her witch friends. They didn't deserve to go down the same route she did. Luz answered many of their questio- ns, but they had to leave due to the time. Luz had to rest in the basement with many of her things since the police had come back, to make sure she wouldn't come in.

Amity was taken to Luz through the underground system. What system you ask? Gus had dug it with Prince, and used it to get to Luz's house to Willow's house, to the store. Anyhoot, when Amity arrived, Luz was curled up on her bed, the witchling silent as can be.

You could barely hear her breathe, but if you got close enough, you would. Amity went over, "Luz..?"

Her left ear perked up, "Are you okay? Do you uhm.."

"I'm fine.." Luz said quietly. "It's not your fault I'm in this mess.."

Amity carefully got on the bed by her, putting her hand on Luz's head, "I do think it's my fault, I didn't let you beat up Noah." Amity said.

Luz fake laughed, "Yeah.."

Amity layed down beside her, very carefully pulling her over a bit, "It's going to be okay, Luz.."

The witchling nodded slowly, "Tell me what you found out..It can't be as bad as what's happening now.."

Amity nuzzled in to Luz's back, the witch shivering, "..Don't get mad.."

"I'll try.."

Amity tightened her grip on Luz, "It's my parents.."
