"-And a happy New Year!~" The chorus finished.

Those who stayed to listen cheered, going through their bags or wallet, leaving tips in their Santa themed money box. "Thank you thank you, we're here for the next hour! Have a great day ladies and gents, have a great day."

If only that were possible. Something crashed down on the tree, catching it on fire as well as making a crater right by it. The humans who were still there murmured amongst eachother, nearing the crater to see what had caused it. As the steam burned out, they spotted what made the crater.

A witch. He had a scar on the right side of his cheek, a notch in his left ear, magenta eyes, and he looked tired. His attire consisted of an ivory cloak with a triangle keeping both sides up, a golden left shoulder pad, and an almost Scottish yellow shirt, black pants, then finally his almost purple boots.

There was a golden mask right by him, but it looked chipped, broken. He clenched the staff in his right hand, picking up his mask, then disappeared.

"Then when your opponent is weak." Luz slapped the stick over the witch drawing. "You can use illusions and or abomination goop to tie them up. You don't want to kill them or hurt them to leave permanent damage, it's just not right."

Edric raised his hand, "So no killing or hurting to cause near death?"

"That is correct. Tie up Nero."

He glanced over at the kitten, Nero switching forms. Edric drew a circle in the air, the pot of abomination goop levitating slightly, slowly floating to Nero. Edric spun the circle, keeping his focus on the goop, til it exploded, splattering on the walls. "I'm so sorry- I can't do it-"

Luz waved her hand, the abomination goop returning to the pot, "It's alright Ed, this is why we're practicing." Luz assured. "Let's take a break."

Nero switched back, "I'm going to Rose's house!" He mewed, jumping off the stool, leaving the room.

"Be back before six!" Luz called out.

"I will!"

Camilla closed her notebook, getting off the floor, "From what I understood this lesson, we can move matter."

"Well, the emperor can. Just with a flick of his wrist, he can move people or things. I'm still trying to figure it out." Luz said, demonstrating what she explained.

"WHAT THE ---- IS THAT-"

"It's your shadow Edric!" Luz hissed.

He was silent for a second, "OH! THANK YOU."

Luz walked out of her room and down the stairs with Camilla, Prince barking out the window. "It's just a squirrel." Luz muttered.

"I didn't know squirrels could wear clothes or have a Palisman." Prince muttered, then barked at it again.

Luz looked out the window, briefly seeing something gold disappear. "I think you're seeing things Prince.." Luz shook her head slightly. "Come on you're helping with lunch."

Over with Amity, on the other claw, she was out, shopping. "Would Luz like this?" Amity asked quietly.

Willow peeked over her shoulder, examining the small object, "Dunno."

'Incoming call from. Luz.' Amity pulled her phone out, answering the call quickly, putting it up against her ear, only to pull back a bit. "PRINCE DROP IT!"

"NO WAY!"

If it's underlined, Amity understood

A crash ensued, Prince letting out a few muffled yelps as he scurried along the floor, then a door slammed shut. "Hi Amity!"

"Hey Prince, what did you do?"

"Luz was talking about you Amity!"

"PRINCE DON'T YOU DARE BARK ANOTHER WORD!" Luz shouted, a pound coming on the door.

"She' s/is okay with me telling you!" He yipped.

"Prince I will hide and ban cheese if I see it in the house if you don't hang up in the next three seconds."

He paused. "Anyways Amity-"

"Prince, just hang up. I'll call Luz later okay?"

"But I want you to talk now!"

"I don't want you to not have cheese for the rest of your life so I'm hanging up now okay? I'll let you to talk to Pierre when I get home, just wait okay?"

He let out a whine, "Okay.."

Amity hung up, putting her phone in her pocket, "He's screwed." Willow finally spoke.

"Yes, yes he is."
