Mattias kept an eye on Bruce as they walked back to the mansion, glaring at him the entire time. Til Luz told him to stop, and let Bruce be. Mattias agreed, only because Luz told him to, not because he was waiting two hours for her to tell him blinking was okay.

Anyways, later on, Luz wanted his actual respect. Not the respect she got for making him fear her, the respect that was deserved. "Can I sit here?" Luz asked Bruce, pointing to the space in front of him.

He drew back, "Yes you may--"

Luz sat down, holding her hand out, Bruce pulling back. "Can I scratch your chin?"

He hesitantly rested his head on her palm, Luz rubbing his chin before gently scratching it. He purred. Bruce relaxed, bellowing quietly, "Lower..To the right..There-"

Bruce mewed, falling on his side, Luz scratching behind his ear, "This is nice~" He purred.

"Does your owner do this?" Luz asked.

"I don't let her, she has nails. They hurt."

Luz scratched his chest, Bruce compl- etely flipping over, getting on his back while Luz kept scratching him. "Amity has nails, that's why I don't let her–"

"WAIT IS THAT WHY YOU HATE WHEN I RUN MY HAND THROUGH YOUR HAIR!?" Amity shouted from across the room.

"Yes, that is why." Luz said softly.

"Ay can you call--" She went on, asking for a person to call, which Ay soon did.

Luz got a sudden shiver, sighing quietly as she recognized the feeling. The witchling pulled her hand back, Bruce getting up a bit, "Why'd you stop?"

"Sorry..I start something I hate today.."

"Oh– I can't be around blood– G'day–"

Luz pulled him back down a bit, "I'm a witch, Bruce..We don't do blood..We do memories and cramps.."

He relaxed just a bit, "We good?"

Luz nodded slowly, leaning back on him, "I'm just gonna lie here for a bit, is that okay..?"

Bruce nodded, resting his head on Luz's stomach, the witchling lazily petting him. Mattias came over, not wanting Bruce to be the only one to cuddle with Luz, laying his head on her thighs. It didn't take long for Luz to doze off, Bruce was the first to notice it though, as her breathing quieted. "Is she actually a witch?"

Mattias glanced over, "She is."

Bruce curled up more, his tail loosely wrapping around Luz's wrist, "She's weak, isn't she?"

"By herself, she is. With others, it depends." Mattias huffed.

"Can I protect her?"

Mattias moved his head over, Bruce looking over at him, "You can. And you should. Luz would care for you even if you hit her, she's too good for any world."

Bruce looked back up at Luz, the witchling breathing quietly, then she began purring. "Purr. She purrs?"

"She does alot. You'll get used to it."

Luz's purrs grew just a bit, Mattias getting up, "Amity should take her to bed, I'll go get her–"

"No. Leave her. Luz is okay, she safe, with me.."

Mattias hesitantly sat down, then rested his head back on Luz's thighs, "Good job Brucie.."

Luz got another animal that wanted to go home with her. Bruce tried to get in the limo, but was dragged out by Mattias, so Bruce kicked Mattias away and got back in. Luz tried to kick him out, but Mattias had already taught Bruce puppy eyes.

Amity kicked him out instead. But then Bruce laid on top of her. Ay called him out, Bruce didn't leave. Ay called his sister to call him out, Bruce didn't leave. Ay called his vet to call him out, Bruce didn't leave. He would never leave. "Bruce."

The tiger looked up at Luz, "Yes?"

"Please get out, I have to get home!"

He huffed, "Why should I listen to you?"

Luz pouted, glancing away. "My mom comes home early today. I want to hang out with her.."

Bruce rolled his eyes, "You see her every day, today won't be any more different."

Amity perked up as she felt a tingling sensation, mustering the new and mysterious strength to push Bruce off, scrambling to Luz. "Hey, hey, don't cry." Amity rushed, cupping Luz's cheek, shushing her. "We'll get to your house in time to hang out with Camilla."

Bruce stiffened. Oh no. Did he just make Luz cry for being mean? Did he just dig himself a grave? Amity's scary Bruce, no one messes with her. Mattias hopped in the limo, nuzzling Luz's arm, "You 'll make it home on time." Mattias barked quietly.

"Did I make her cry?-" Bruce quickly chimed in.

A quiet hiccup from Luz answered his question, Amity slowly turning to face him. "Out!"

Bruce got up in an instant, rushing out of the limo, Mattias lightly booping Luz's cheek before leaving as well. "I deeply care about you two." Mattias barked.

Amity sat by Luz, kissing her cheek, the witchling relaxing just a bit. Ay peeked in, "We come two days. Good?"

"Yeah that's fine, I'll tell Dad.." Amity mumbled, lifting Luz's chin up a bit, wiping away her tears.

Bruce slipped in before Ay closed the door, but Mattias noticed and opened the door, "Bruce, she does n't want to be with you right now, out!"

The tiger went over to Luz, sitting down in front of her, resting his head on her lap, Amity shooing him away. "I said out."

Luz nudged Bruce away, hugging Amity, the human pulling her over, laying Luz over herself. "Mean kitty isn't he?"

"Mhm.." Luz nodded slowly

"Do you hate him?" Amity asked in a soft tone.

"Yeah.."

"Would a kiss make you feel better?"

Luz paused, "Not the candy..?"

Amity shook her head, "Not the candy I promise."

Luz nodded, "Come here Brucie.."

He smugly got up, licking Luz's cheek, the witch humming before giggling. Amity glared at him, Bruce nuzzling Luz's cheek, "Sorry, didn't mean to hurt you."

"Its alright..My mom isn't home since work has gotten busy, but I try to be there when she gets home.."

Bruce chuffed, nuzzling her cheek, before getting out of the limo. "Return soon, please?"

"I will.."

Mattias barked cheerfully, "Bye Luz! Bye Amity!"

"Bye Mattias." Both girls said in unison, then laughed after.

Mattias closed the door, the limo creeping forward before pulling out of the driveway. "They're dating, aren't they?"

"Oh boy, let's go inside. I have to tell you about this bet.."
