February first.

Wolf was slammed against the tree, "WHERE IS SHE!?" Amity shouted.

"I have-" They snarled. "No idea who you're talking about!"

Amity pulled her back, pushing Wolf against the fallen tree. "Where. Is. My. Girlfriend." Amity summoned her staff, pressing it up against Wolf's neck. "Where. Is. She."

"River- I can smell her from here for Artimis' sake-"

Amity pushed Wolf aside, getting on Prince's back, the stallion whining before rushing down the hill. Prince slid up by the stream, looking around, jumping across, rushing up the river. Amity hopped off, sliding down by Luz, "Not this again- Luz-" Amity pulled the witch up.

Luz was bit on her shoulder, blood still streaming out. Mortimer stayed by Luz the entire night, having convinced bob cats to at least take Luz closer to civilization, the coyotes to help them cross the river, and black bears to go find humans, which didn't work. Amity scooped Luz up, getting back on Prince, the stallion helping Mortimer up.

Amity pulled her phone out, calling the police. "9// what and where is your emergency?"

"My girlfriend was bit by a ----ing wolf and left out the night!! Get me an ambulance!"

"A-Amity? It's an honor to be on the line with you-"

"Get the ambulance!"

"Right- Uh--"

"Noceda Residence!!"

"We'll be there in five."

"Amity! Here! We heard one of your friends was put in the hospital, can you tell us more?"

"Here! How has this effected you?"

"Please move aside- This is urgent-" The nurse pried, pushing reporters aside.

Prince used his butt to move the humans away, his hooves being ridiculously loud on the tiles. Amity stroked Luz's hair, the witch letting out a groan. "Amity.."

"You're such an idiot- Why do you have to make friends with everyone even if you know they can kill you?-"

Luz smiled slightly, "I made friends with you..Don't regret it..Not one bit..!"

Amity sighed, moving Luz's hair back, "Just rest for now, they'll bandage you right up and you'll feel better."

"I'm sorry Amity but she'll have to be alone for this- Too many people in a room will stress the doctor-" The nurse pushed Amity back a bit.

"Wha- But- No no- I-It's okay- Just don't hurt her-"

The nurse nodded, pushing the stretcher in to the room, "If she cries call me in! She doesn't like being alone!!"

"We got it! Check in!" The nurse called back.

Prince turned sideways in the hall, blocking off the humans who tried to take pictures of Amity. "Let's go to the waiting room, Luz will be out in a jiffy!"

Amity nodded slowly, "Right- Yeah let's go.."

Luz was okay, she did cry but Amity wasn't called in which upset the human, then Luz was let in to Amity's care. "Stop making friends with things that can hurt you.." Amity said softly, moving Luz's hair back.

The witch adjusted on the hospital bed, "You hurt me, but I still wanted to be your friend. Look where that got me!"

Amity kissed Luz's forehead, the witch smiling like an idiot. "You know I love you."

"Do I know that? Yes. Yes I do."

Amity pulled back, sighing, "There are a lot of reporters out there.."

Luz frowned. "Call your dad, ask him if we can.."

Amity nodded, kissing Luz's cheek, getting up, pulling her phone out of her pocket. Amity unlocked it with Luz's name, going to contacts, pressing on a name, putting her phone up against her ear. ". . . Hello?"

"Hey, dad?"

"Results came back, she'll be free to go." The nurse smiled. "Feel better."

Luz nodded, "Thank you sir."

He tipped his head, "My pleasure. Do be careful next time." He turned on his heel, walking down the hall.

Amity pulled Luz up, both leaving the room, heading down the empty halls, reaching the exit. Amity checked Luz out of the hospital, then they left in the limo. The ride was quiet, except when they arrived at the Blight manor. "Amity!! What happened to your friend?" The reporter shouted.

"Police refuse to tell us how important this friend is, we believe they're your boyfriend!"

"Amity I love you!!"

Luz made Amity hand her Ghost, the palisman very tired as it hasn't been in use. Luz stroked Ghost's head, the cat purring quietly. Luz hopped on the staff, helping Amity up, the crowd awhing as Luz and Amity flew over the gate and to the house. Prince was already here, since Alador planned this.

What was planned, exactly? The Blight address, was leaked, to save Lumity. "Welcome home girls, sheets were just warmed, what would you like for dinner?" Reginald asked.

"Whatever Amity wants." Luz cut in before the human did.

"Would Balut suit your taste??" Reginald asked.

"What's that?" Luz asked.

He waved Luz over, leading the way to the kitchen. "We were just about to make some, the Blights allowed us to. Jerald, open one."

"Ah- I was just about to boil this one." He muttered, holding out an egg.

Luz leaned in, her ears perking up as a little chirp, caught her attention. "Is it- Alive..?"

"Oh yes, Balut is a boiled, developing, embryo eaten from the shell. Would you like to help me prepare it?"

Luz picked up the egg carton, taking his egg, then silently walked off. The two butlers stood there, confused, "I assume she likes them very alive..?"

"DON'T TOUCH THESE CHICKS!!"

"Luz you better not crack them!" Amity shouted.

"THEY'RE MY KIDS NOW!"

Amity sighed. "Find something else to make.."

The butlers slowly nodded, "..Want some frogs?"

^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^°•^

Luz gazed at the eggs from behind the lamp, staring in amazement as she saw the veins and beating heart of the animals. One of which, was not a chicken. "Baby alligator. I'm sure of it." Luz pulled back.

"There's no alligators."

"I'll prove you wrong when it hatches."

Amity pulled Luz out of her chair, taking the witch to the luckily still warm bed. "Nerdflix and cuddle?" Amity asked.

"Mhm! But carefully because my shoulder still hurts alot."

Shoulder how to hug, think she'll get the hang of it?
