Luz held on to Nero on her walk with Amity to the library, Nero wanted to leave though, he hated books. Luz could tell he was uncomfortable, asked him a few times if he wanted to leave, but he knew Luz was hurting and stayed. "Want a coffee or tea?" Amity signaled to the shop in the library.

"..No thank you.." Luz spoke softly.

"What book do you want to look for?"

Luz hesitated, "The Good Witch Azura.."

"..I'll go ask if it's here."

Luz moved Nero's paws up to her shoulders, nodding slowly. Amity walked off, Luz tensing up, her ears perking up. Nero began to hiss, pulling back from Luz, looking around. "Put your hoodie up Luz.." He meowed.

The witchling felt for her hood, pulling it up, Nero getting in, poking his head out. "..You feel it too right..?" Luz whispered.

"It's putting pressure.." He hissed quietly. "What is it.."

Luz shot up, Nero nearly going down her jacket through the back, yowling quietly. "It's getting closer--"

Nero curled around Luz's neck, his ears perking up. "It stopped.."

Luz felt her chest tighten, the witch looking around, only books books and more books. No one else was around. The witch shivered, feeling something cold graze her ankles, glancing down. "What the..?"

A green, glowing ball rolled forward, hitting the stand of the table. "You'll need that."

Luz jumped, looking up on the shelf, "Basilisk lady--"

She hopped down, sitting in the booth, "Yes, it is I. I'm still waiting for our own battle Luz, but you keep getting hurt over and over again." She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Pick the ball up, hide it."

Luz used her foot to roll the ball closer, picking it up, opening her bag. She gazed at the ball, examining it. The basilisk lady was reaching her hand out to the ball, but Luz had flinched in it. The witch rose a brow, looking to her left, flinching when she saw the beast reach out. "Don't stare, you'll become obsessed."

The witch slid the ball in her bag, "Is that..?"

"What you think it is? Certainly. I am sorry I couldn't have brought it sooner, but you'll know what to do with it when the time comes." She glanced Luz's way. "I bet you're wondering why I'm here."

Luz nodded, "I was almost dead the last time we met..Also, how is your force so strong..?--"

The basilisk sighed, "I regret the way I take the magic, but I need it to live. Every few days, I'll go to the flower one's house, take the magic of the piranha plants, and leave. Don't fret, I do not take more than I need."

Luz hesitated, "How are you still here. Were you the one who hurt the human?"

"Who? Jacob? That buffoon killed two of us, we got our revenge. But he's not dead, he'll be paralyzed if everything goes according to plan."

Nero hissed quietly, the basilisk spotting him in Luz's hoodie, "That's a hell of a way to get revenge.."

"True, but we're going extinct cat. We were one of the first beings on the isles before we were hunted." The basilisk got up. "Watch out for the leprechaun, he's on a rampage." She tipped her head forward slightly, and walked off.

Luz poked Nero's snout, the kitten shivering, his fur turning green. "I don't want you to get pinched.."

Nero nuzzled Luz's cheek, purring quietly, "So..What are we going to do about the ball..?"

"..I've heard alot about time spheres, but this is the only one I haven't seen." Luz sighed. "It's green, it shows something different. All the others show the past or alternative."

"And this one shows the future." Nero mewed.

"Precisely. But the ones I've heard of have a stone inside..And if you know how to use it, you'll go to the future. So I'm assuming this one goes to the past.."

Nero drew back, "How far..?"

"In to the past? Im not sure. It could go back to the Titan's time for all I know--"

"I found the book Luz." Amity poked her head around the corner, walking over to Luz, handing her the book.

The witch took the book, examining the cover, gasping. "The fifth book---"

"Is it your favorite?" Amity asked, sitting by the witch.

"It might be! I haven't read it yet!" Luz hugged Amity, kissing her cheek. "Thank you for helping me feel better Cariño, I still have no idea why you stick with me."

Amity pulled Luz closer, pressing up against her, "Have you even read the books?"

Luz giggled, "I finally finished the first one~"

"Ugh that one is embarrassing." Amity kissed Luz's cheek. "Did you like it?"

"Mhm, my favorite part? Am I bi?"

"Luz!" Amity hissed quietly. "Augh I wrote that when you gave me the Smershey's Kiss-"

The witch giggled, "You were wrong by the way, you're a lesbian." Luz pulled Amity close, wrapping her arms around the human's neck. "Or rather, a Luzbian."

"Blightsexual." Amity teased.

"Mm.." Luz looked away. "I wish you were a Clawthorne Amity.."

"Oh, well guess what?" Amity pulled Luz in to her lap. "I would prefer if you became a Mrs.."

Luz's face heated up, the witch mumbling a few words, hiding her face in Amity's chest. "Since you feel better Luz, I'm going home to help Hunter with dinner." Nero mewed.

"Mhm.."

Amity giggled, moving Luz's hair back, kissing her head, "Would you like to be a Mrs.Clawthorne Luz?~"

"Dovjakf..."

Amity rubbed Luz's back, nodding to Nero, the cat bowing his head before jumping off the table. Amity could see him switch and fly up to the shelves, avoiding the eyes. "Oh my god."

Both girls flinched, looking towards the shelf behind Luz, "Uh-" Amity drew back.

"You two are still dating-?"

"No no-" Luz sat up. "Amity still needs me time- We're gradually getting there-"

The stranger stepped back, "I have to tell the chat-"

"What?-" Luz lightly scoffed.

"Cory will be so happy--" They pulled their phone out.

But it was quickly taken, Nero trotting towards Luz and Amity, handing the Blight the phone. Amity glared at the human, holding the phone up, and squeezed. Luz covered her face, the screen of the phone shattering, the phone itself bending. "Out." Amity hissed.

"My phone-- Oh no- My Fanfiction--"

Amity dropped the phone, holding a little chip. "Take it. If I hear anything about Luz and I still cuddling.." Amity dragged her thumb across her throat.

They rushed over, taking their chip, bowing multiple times before leaving. Nero sighed, "Maybe I'll stay and watch.."
