March 1st

It didn't rain that night, so Luz was good to sleep through the night. Til Harold woke her up at two am. Luz had gotten up to give him water and a few seeds, rocking him to sleep, not having realized he dozed off the first four minutes. At four, Luz went back to sleep, then woke up an hour later due to her 0 period.

Luz took a shower, got ready, made breakfast, got everyone's stuff ready for the day, and let Pierre inside. He was set to care for the chicks. Luz got her bag, Rascal, charger, and her bus pass. "Time for Annabelle." Luz said quietly, taking her sketchbook.

The witch exited the house, closing and locking the door, walking down the street. She crossed it twice, making it right on time to the bus. It hissed as it stopped, Luz getting on, scanning her pass. "Morning Daisy." Luz greeted. "I thought you drove for my other school?"

The doors closed, "I did. Til my insomnia caught up to me." She sighed. "Sorry for replacing Sarah that one time."

Luz sat in the front. "You didn't really, but thanks for apologizing. You know, when I can't sleep, I make myself believe I am, then I do! It's really odd."

Daisy hummed. "I'll try that."

Luz slid the book in the drop slot, turning and getting back on the bus, getting a message as soon as she sat. "Thanks Luz!"

Sent by Annabelle. Luz leaned her head back and sighed. "So sleepy.."

Daisy hummed, going down the street, "Couldn't sleep either?"

"My chicken is blind, and he has lots of sound nightmares..So I have to be ready for anything so he doesn't wake the others.." Luz yawned. "But I can handle it..I just have to survive til 1:26 for school today.."

Daisy nodded slowly, "If you say so."

Luz staggered in the room, closing the door, "Home.." Luz tiredly called out.

Amilotl rushed downstairs, hitting their side on the couch before going over to Luz. "(≧▽≦)!"

The witch pat it's head, "Hey.."

Amilotl jumped around, hopping to the stairs, it's tail wagging furiously. Luz followed it up, the stuffie guiding Luz to her room. Too bad Luz couldn't make it to her nest. The witch fell on the carpet, letting out a soft snore as soon as she did. The chickens swarmed over, chirping in her ears.

Luz whined, groggily getting up, "I'm up I'm up.." Luz staggered over to her nest, falling in. "What.."

Amilotl nudged the witch, letting out a mechanical purr. "(｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡"

Luz looked at it, then turned her head away, "Headache.."

The witch tensed, pulling her phone out, unlocking it and calling someone. "Yep?"

"Willow..Are you okay..?" Luz asked softly.

The human hesitated, then she hiccuped. "N-No actually- I-I'm not-"

Luz sat up, picking Amilotl up, "Pierre you're in charge, I'll be back." Luz pointed to him, leaving her room. "I'd like to know what your favorite snacks and drinks are, I'll be right over okay?"

Willow hiccuped, "O-Okay- I-I'll send you a text--"

"Get comfy okay? Make sure your favorite stuffies are with you, I'll see you soon!" Luz rushed down the stairs carefully, getting her bag, putting it over her shoulder.

"M-Mhm-"

Luz hung up, taking Rascal by the door, "Hey buddy, I'm in need of a ride, can you help?"

He blinked a bit before yawning and stretching his wings, "Currip!"

Luz hopped off the staff, rushing to the door, knocking. It was opened after a minute or two, Gator, having answered. "Hey witch.." He barked quietly.

"Heya Gator, you okay?"

He slumped inside, "My partner.."

Luz hesitantly came in, "Is she..?"

Little yips came from the back, Gator sitting down, "She..Gave birth.." He took a shallow breath. "But she didn't make it.."

Luz knelt down, hugging the dog. He let out a whine, nuzzling the side of Luz's head. "I'm sure she's watching over you Gator, and I'm certain she loves you."

He let out a short choke, hiding his face in Luz's hair, his tail curling up by his foot. "..I miss Camren.." He barked softly. "I miss her much more than anyone or anything..I miss her.."

Luz gave him a squeeze, kissing his head, "She left something behind for you, didn't she?"

He pulled back, "..Did she..?"

Luz nodded, "You have puppies now Gator! You're a dad! You're going to be such an awesome dad! With your piranha plant brothers, cool toys, aunt's and uncles! Gator you have a family!" Luz ruffled his fur. "And I am so proud of you!"

His tail wagged slowly, the dog nodding, getting up. "Camren did leave me something! I have pups! I'm a dad! Luz I'm a dad!" He barked loudly.

"Go name your pups Gator! You tell them how great there mom is every night ya'hear? Everything there is to know, you tell em!"

He howled, walking back a bit, then he jumped. "I'm a dad!!" He howled, jumping over Luz's bag, skidding to the kitchen, rushing to the back. "Puppies!!"

Luz got up, walking upstairs, finding Willow's room. She knocked, the door creaking open. Luz pushed it forward, walking in, "Hey Willow.."

"Hey.."

The witch closed the door, walking over, opening the bags. "Peppers, sour cream, cheese, chips." Luz placed that down, opening the other bag. "Herbal tea, very fancy water, and frozen pizza. But since I'm a witch, I'll heat it up for you right now."

Willow wiped her cheek, turning on her bed slightly, looking down at the stuff Luz brought. The witch flinched, taking one more thing out, "And cauliflower for Pollen."

The human nodded slowly, wiping her cheek again, Luz sitting down. "So, what's wrong?"

"I..I miss Boscha.."
