I helped (Y/n) up and took her back to the bed where the young woman sat. Her face was still pale and she looked down awkwardly.

"I'm sorry, William..."

I placed a finger on her chin and made her look at me.

"You don't need to apologize...I think you had a concussion from the accident. Go back to bed, you'll be fine soon."

She nodded and I helped her to lie down.

"Want me to stay here?" I asked as I put the blanket over her.

"No you don't need to... I mean, I don't want to bother you..."

I chuckled.

"Don't say that, you don't bother me, my little bunny."

She stared at me silently and I asked.

"By the way, did you manage to remember anything else?"

(Y/n) took a moment to respond.

"Just a few things."

I knew she was lying, I knew her, so I sat on the bed and insisted.

"What do you remember exactly?"

(Y/n)'s eyes darted around the room, it was as if she didn't want to look directly at me to answer, the young woman started talking after a few more seconds in silence.

-I remember the two of us and the children.

"Children?"

She shook her head nervously against the pillow.

"Yes" The young woman paused "our children, Mike, Chris and Lizzie" She spoke in a low voice.

"Oh yes, all right." I shook my head, even though I knew it was a lie. I just didn't know where she wanted to end with those lies, but I didn't question her anymore.

"Now rest, (Y/n)."
