Normal P.O.V

Gray clenched his fists in anger as he saw Gems getting slapped like that. He immediately started to dislike Asta. Even if Gems was wrong in this, but he couldn't let someone else raise their hands on Gems.

“How dare he...” Gray hissed in anger as he took a step back.

Erza immediately sensed that and grabbed Gray by his wrist.

“Gray... Calm down.” Erza mumbled under her breathe.

“That Asta guy just slapped Gems and you want me to calm down?!” Gray asked. And Erza gripped his wrist harder.

“Yes Gray, calm the fuck down.” Erza said angrily. “Don't mess this up, we are already under fire because of yesterday. We don't want more troubles with other guilds.” Erza scolded and let go of Gray's hand.

Gray looked and thought for a while.

‘Gemsie...’ Gray thought while holding back his anger on Asta.

Gems was pissed as he walked out the commentators cabin. The third day had begun with a lot of chaos already. And the show was just starting.

“Gems.. Gems!”

Gems stopped mid way when he heard his name being called out. Gems turned around and it was Cathy, the one who interviewed Natsu yesterday, standing behind him with a microphone.

Gems just sighed.

“Gems! A quick question. How do you feeling competing in front of your ex-guild mates and winning? How does it make you feel?” Cathy asked and Gems scoffed.

“There are haters in the shape of wizards all around me, especially in Fairy Tail, and I can see the way they look into my eyes. I am not them... And they are not me.” Gems said in a serious tone. “And I weathered every storm that was meant to break me.” Gems added.

A smirk appeared on Gems's face, knowing everyone in the arena could hear him and see him.

“You can't help but talk about me, I saw the look in their eyes as soon as I revealed myself and showed them what I truly am when I laid them all out. My presence made them question themselves.” Gems bragged his actions and all that with a smile on his face.

“I have let them block my destiny and they hide their insecurities behind fake smiles and hugs, while trying to hold me back because they knew I was better than them. They demanded proof that I belonged there, as if my scars which I got fighting their battles weren't enough!” Gems said angrily and the crowd was silently watching and listening to him because it was intense.

“They don't have to like me, but they will respect me! I'm here because I have earned it... Every scar... Every loss... Every step... I will not shrink myself for anyone anymore! I have played by their rules long enough and now its time I play by my rules. And I am gonna annihilate them all because I am a storm which no one will be able to weather.” Gems said in an intense tone. Everyone was silent.

“Very intense answer but you will be in action soon, who are you expecting to be your opponent?” Cathy asked. Gems just rubbed his hand on his cheek.

“I hope its Asta, so that can I can beat his ass once and for all.” Gems said.

“But don't you think that if you want a victory for your team, your opponent should not be Asta?” She asked and Gems rolled his eyes.

“I see what you're trying to do here...” Gems mumbled in a low tone. “Get the hell out of my face!” Gems yelled in the microphone. Cathy flinched immediately took a couple of steps back before running away.
