Everyone in the arena and at home watching the live telecast throughout Fiore and Clover were not only shocked and surprised but they couldn't even believe what just happened.

The magic guilds that didn't participate but had previously worked with Fairy Tail, knew about the accident that took place and that took Gems's life, since many of those even attended the funeral. So to see him resurrected like that was a shocker for the Fiore Nation, especially the people in Magnolia.

The people of Magnolia, the villagers of Smiling Palms village, Gems's friends they were all feeling very bitter sweet regarding the situation. They all had questions which needed to be answered.

Out of all the people Gray had the most questions, he was happy to see Gems back but he wanted to know what happened to me.

“Gray? Are you okay?” Erza asked as Gray was holding back tears after coming backstage to the Fairy Tail stands. Gray just sniffed and nodded.

Gray tried to talk to Gems after they left the battlefield and went to the back, but the management team didn't let Gray anywhere near the stands of Everlasting Fangs, in order to avoid anymore conflicts between the two guilds.

“I hate to believe he's the Gems that I know.” Gray mumbled while looking down. “I feel like he's slipping out of my hands.” he added, almost reaching his breaking point. Gray clenched his knuckles in frustration.

“I sensed it in his tone, there's something going on which he is hiding from us. But I can't quite put my finger on it. I refuse to believe that he did all this on his own. I am sure there is some outside influence.” Erza said as she put her hand on Gray's shoulder.

“I am dying to talk to him.” A tear rolled down Gray's cheek which he immediately wiped off.

Erza let out a heavy sigh. She was not concerned about Gems's attacking them, she just wanted to know the reason behind that sudden action.

“Don't give up on him.” Erza mumbled and Gray just nodded in response. “We'll try talking to him after going back to the hotel. I've already asked Happy, Charles and PantherLily to search out for his room number.” Erza added and that brought some hope on Gray.

“Yeah.” Gray mumbled. ‘Gemsie... Why did you do this...?’ he thought.

“Let's go out now, the battle segment's about to begin.” Erza said as she walked towards her team stand, while Gray walked towards the Fairy Tail stands with hands in his pockets.

Gray was getting frustrated because even at the Fairy Tail stands, everyone was talking about Gems. They consoled Gray, but they were still shocked and looking for some answers from Gems.

Meanwhile the first battle segment that was announced to be taken place was Natsu of Fairy Tail going against Leopold Vermillion of Crimson Lion. There were four battles that were announced, a wizard from one guild versus a wizard from another guild.

It was a battle of fire mages, the audience loved the battle and was cheering for the both of them. And at the end, Natsu emerged victorious and defeated Leopold gathering 10 points for Fairy Tail.

The second match was Asta of Black Bull versus Lyon Vastia of Lamia Scale.

The crowd was surprised that Asta could summon swords that could nullify any magic, that bout proved to be a tough one for Lyon as he ended up losing that match to Asta.

Asta was able to earn 10 points for his guild.

The third match of the day was a tag match between Mermaid Heel and Coral Peacock. Jessie and Cassie from Mermaid Heel competed against Rick and Dmitri or Coral Peacock.
