131: Gray's Feelings

“Here is your winner, and earning 10 points for Everlasting Fangs, Gems D'Cruz!” Carmella announced on the microphone as she raised Gems's arm in the air while the crowd applauded for him.

According to the crowd and the commentators, that fatal four way was by far the best match of the tournament. Everyone gave everyone a tough battle.

Seth was surprised and shocked that Gems was actually able to win the match, because he was expecting Gems to lose so that he could torture his parents more just for his sick pleasure. Seth was stunned as he looked like he was pissed but he still smiled.

Gems had a wide smile on his face.

“Whoa, this people are still cheering for you!” Carmella said to Gems. Gems was surprised as well and he had that genuine smile on his face, which could make anyone believe that he is not the bad guy. Gray had a smile on his face seeing that smile on Gems.

‘Wow... Gemsie... He is amazing...’ Gray thought while watching Gems perform and win.

“Gems D'Cruz, congratulations on your victory... Getting it after your debacle in the tag team match. Now I have to ask you with everything that happened between you and Asta and with what he said about you as a tag team partner. Do you feel like you proved him wrong with this victory?” Carmella asked.

Gems was taking short breathes and was sweating a lot. He was tired and exhausted and he needed rest.

“No, I was never a bad tag team partner. Asta just couldn't catch up because of the lousy wizard that he is. And you know what Carmella, I'm so happy to pull this victory for my guild.” Gems said with a smile, before his expressions changed to serious ones.

“But Asta, if you ever, ever, ever say my name or even think about talking behind my back... I'll show you my brutality, and you'll suffer the same fate as Natsu Dragneel... And that's a promise.” Gems said in a very intense tone, while the crowd was cheering for him.

“Also now that you mentioned it, what was the reason you attacked Natsu?” Carmella asked and Gems just scoffed.

“You see, I saw him talking trash about me after the match and I couldn't help it and I took the trash out myself and I hope he had fun watching me win from rehab.” Gems laughed.

“Hey Gray!” Gems said suddenly grabbing Gray's attention while looking at him. Gray was just flustered. “How does it feel getting promoted from being a reserve member to now being a part of the main team? I know it feels good... Been there, done that!” he added making fun of Gray.

“One more thing Carmella... I didn't come here to put on great matches or to steal the show...” Gems said in a shady way. “I came here to win... I came here to be the best!” Gems said with a smirk.

Anyone could pick up the anger and frustration in his tone.

“Natsu was better than me for three seconds, for three seconds only. But let's get the facts clear, he will never be me. And now I've even a bigger point to prove!” Gems said as he snatched the mic from Carmella and faced the camera's.

The ratings were increasing everytime Gems was on.

“You see, I have a point to prove. I have a point to prove to every body that I am the best wizard on this continent. I wanna do more than just beat Natsu...” Gems said.

“You see... I just don't wanna beat him once, I don't wanna beat him twice... I wanna beat him again and again and again and again!” Gems said angrily.
