129: Don't Mess With Gems

Normal P.O.V

Gems was heartbroken as he heard those words coming out of Gray's mouth, his emotions was felt by him. His pain and his sorrow, Gems wanted to take them away but was bound not to.

Gems wanted to tell Erza and Gray everything, two of the most trusted people, but he didn't because he knew Stolas was keeping an eye on him.

Gems's heart was paining everytime he heard a cry from Gray.

Gray's words were ringing in his ears and the fact that he had lost Gray. He wasn't even sure if he could possibly fix now that its broken, which wasn't supposed to break, ever. The strongest bond he had with anyone, was now broken.

Gems laid on floor and shed more tears while holding onto his stomach and touching the bite mark that Gray gave him, which he wasn't even able to feel.

Gems's room was completely covered in orange light from the sunset which was entering his room from the bed side window.

His room was filled with the sounds of him whimpering and apologizing to Gray and Silver, since he promised Silver that he'd take care of Gray, but whatever was happening was completely opposite.

Gems laid there in the pool of his own tears for what felt like hours, until he had no more tears to shed.

Gems slowly got up and looked himself in the mirror. He looked like a complete mess. Gems just sighed. “I have nothing left to lose anymore...” Gems mumbled as he wiped away any new fresh tears that might make their way out.

He went straight to the bathroom and stood under the shower and just let his body loose and relaxed under the hot water. He was getting ready for the dinner party that was about to happen in the hall.

Gray on the other hand regretted whatever he just said.

“Gray... Calm down... We'll talk to him...” Erza mumbled as she escorted Gray towards his room.

“Erza... I don't wanna lose him.” Gray mumbled and Erza just nodded.

“That's why I was telling you to shut up while you were speaking anything that came to your head outside Gems's room.” Erza scolded Gray and the ice mage just sighed.

“I'm sorry...” Gray sulked.

“Stop sulking and get ready, we'll find a way to talk to him.” Erza said and Gray just nodded. “And please try not to create any ruckus at the dinner party, okay?” Erza said and Gray nodded again, before she left his room.

‘I'm not giving up on you no matter what... I'll get you back... I promise...’ Gray thought as he looked at a photograph of Gems, which he had.

Everyone had dressed up pretty good and were gathered for the dinner party, organized by King Julius and Princess Hisui for all the wizards that came to the Clo-Fi island for the MagicMania tournament.

Most of the people were smiling and greeting each other and some were lost due to the actions of the events at day 1 of MagicMania.

Yuno was injured, thanks to Gems, yet he showed up with bandages all over his body.

Gray just sat silently on one of the tables and just ignored everyone. He even refused to talk to Lyon. All he could think of was Gems. He wanted to take his words back. He looked around but there was not a sign of Gems anywhere.

Gems wasn't there, but on the contrary, his new guildmates sat in a corner while talking to themselves and not talking to anyone else and enjoying the dinner party, Gray found it weird because they didn't even wait for Gems.
