135: Couple Reunited

Normal P.O.V

Gems felt a striking pain on his cheek as Gray's palm struck on his cheek, sending his glasses flying across the room. The room echoed with the sound of the slap.

Gems had tears rolling down his cheeks as he sniffed, not due to the slap, because he had been holding it inside of him for way too long.

Their was complete silence within Fairy Tail as well, as they heard that sound.

“Did he just slap him!?” Natsu gasped.

“G-Gray... Sorry...” Gems mumbled while looking down. “You can hit me a-all you w-want... I won't s-say...a word...” Gems cried. “I am so-sorry...” Gems stood there looking down, without flinching.

Gray immediately regretted his actions, he was not the who would raise his hand to hit the ones he loves.

“Are you even the real Gems?” Gray asked.

Gems swallowed a lump and lowered his neck collar, revealing Gray's bite mark. Gray's eyes widened, his expressions softened. “Yes... I am... I am Gems.” Gems cried.

Gray's eyes started to water. His heart was aching seeing Gems cry.

“Juvia can bet that this is nothing but crocodile tears.” Juvia said as she folded her arms while listening to the conversation.

“Juvia will you shut up for once!?” Lucy said while frowning. “Or you can just go back to your room.” she added getting angry.

“Come here...” Gray's voice cracked as he walked towards Gems and immediately wrapped his arms around Gems. “Gemsie... Sorry...” Gray immediately apologized as hugged Gems tighter.

Gems couldn't resist and broke down in tears, crying hysterically.

“Gray... I... I... I am so.. Sorry... I am so sorry!! Sorry...” Gems shed more tears as he felt the warmth, he missed it. “I am so sorry...” Gems kept on apologizing.

“Gemsie.... Stop cr-crying.” Gray said while shedding tears of his own. Gray pulled Gems's head closer, making him rest on his chest. “I missed you... I missed you so-so much...” Gray cried.

“S-sorry... Take me b-back!” Gems cried. Gray heard those words and remembered what he said to Gems on the first day and it stung him.

“Stop crying... I'm here now...” Gray said as he wiped his own tears before he wiped Gems's. He looked in Gems's eyes and his heart broke, he could see Gems's eyes and it told him how broken Gems was. “Ayyy.. Gemsie... Please stop crying... Please...” Gray said as he rubbed his thumb over Gems's cheek, where he slapped.

Gems shook his head and hugged Gray again. More tears slipped Gray's eyes. He wanted to say so much more, but he knew Fairy Tail was listening.

Gray took a deep breathe and pulled Gems closer. They both stood there crying in each other's arms for a couple more minutes, before Gray made Gems sit on his bed.

Gray and Gems looked at each other and let their eyes do all the talking. Gray wiped Gems's tears away and held his hands.

“G-Gray... Please... Please forgive me.” Gems pleaded.

“Gemsie... Tell me... Tell me everything... Don't keep me in the dark... Let me in. What's going on?” Gray asked as he squeezed Gems's hand.

“Gray... I... I didn't mean...” Gems mumbled.

“Gemsie... talk to me.. Please... Tell me! I know something's up.” Gray mumbled making Gems look at him and wiped his fresh tears away.

“Gray... Its about my p-parents...” Gems mumbled.
