140: The Exposé

Normal P.O.V

Gems was taking short breathes as he was fighting off both Natsu and Asta. The dynamic was crazy and he had to go past his limits.

“Wind Fury!”

“Fire Dragon Roar!”

“Black Slash!”

All three of them launched their attacks with full charge, causing a massive collision. As the dust settled down, Gems was seen defending himself with his wind magic and Natsu had swallowed the flames like a snack, while Asta cancelled the repellent with his magic.

All three of them were tearing the house down.

“Meteora!”

“Fire Dragon Iron Fist!”

Gems was covered in wind while Natsu had his fist covered in fired as they both charged towards each other.

“This is awesome! This is awesome! This is awesome!” the crowd was chanting at the top of their lungs.

Just when Natsu and Gems were about to collide, Asta interfered and cancelled out both their magics. The entire arena groaned in disappointment at the same time. Gems gritted his teeth in anger.

‘I don't even have much energy left... I can't afford my spells getting cancelled again and again...’ Gems thought as he looked at Asta.

Natsu ran towards Asta to attack while Gems flew behind, when Asta was distracted Gems used his skills and attacked Asta from behind with a handspring elbow, directly hitting Asta on the back of his head.

Asta fell to the ground, holding his head. His head was spinning.

Gems used this as an opportunity and launched his strongest spell as Natsu. “Wind Of Pain!” the entire arena was seeing the effects of the wind all around. Gems looked determined.

“Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blaze!” Natsu didn't hesitate and launched his own attack.

Poor Asta was caught in the cross hairs of both the attacks. There was a loud gasp heard by the crowd, as their attacks collided creating a huge explosion. Both Gems and Natsu improvised and used more of their magic.

It created another explosion, almost an earth shattering explosion.

“Gems!” Gray gasped as he looked at the battle field covered in smoke. Gems had fallen to his knees as his Believix disappeared.

“I am out of magic...” Gems mumbled in disappointment as he looked at the palm of his hand. “...its over.” he added, holding back tears. Gems had sustained many injuries.

As the dust settled down, the crowd started to cheer again. Gems looked here and there and sighed in relief when he saw Asta unconscious on the ground, but his eyes widened when he Natsu was still standing.

Gems's eyes widened when he saw Natsu still standing.

‘I... I lost...’ Gems thought as disappointment hit him. Gems swallowed a lump as they both looked at each other. Gems got up, but he had no energy left. “I am not giving up!” Gems said while taking short breathes.

A smile crept up Natsu's face, before he let his body fall on the ground, infront of Gems. Everyone in the arena, including Gems, was shocked as they saw both Natsu and Asta laying on the ground defeated.

“He did it! He did it! Gems defeated both Natsu and Asta!” The commentators spoke as the bell was rung.

The entire crowd erupted with loud cheers for Gems when that announcement was made. Carmella raised Gems's hand in the air while Gems just stood there stunned and surprised, while the other refrees helped Natsu and Asta get to the back.
