143: Gems's Final Battle

Normal P.O.V

Gems was shocked to his core, as he realized that the nightmare that he had been struggling with was about to become a reality.

Gems knew that he was destined to lose the battle that was laid infront of him. But he was left with no other options. This is the most helpless Gems has ever felt in his life. Gems had tears running down his cheeks, as he saw that Gray's life was at stake.

Gems turned around and saw that every other wizard was trapped, they wanted to help but weren't able to.

“Ready?” Seth asked grabbing Gems's attention. Gems was confused.

“Seth... Please don't do this... Please... Please don't do this... I beg you please!” Gems broke down into tears. “You can take all my powers right now! But please let Gray and others go please! I beg you!” Gems cried.

“Okay, get on your knees... Beg in front of me, beg like a low life that you are! Rub your nose on my foot dirt and then I'll think about it!” Seth said, he was reeking of malice and evil.

Gems looked down and wiped his tears. Gems was putting his self respect on the line for Gray.

“Gemsie No! Don't do it!” Gray yelled, trying to wiggle but failed to get free.

“Gems stop!” Erza and Lucy yelled.

Gems didn't even think for a second, nor did he listen to Gray or others and just walked towards Seth. Gems would do anything for his love, and this was just another proof of that.

“Seth... I beg... Please let them go.” Gems said holding back tears. Gray didn't like this one bit. There was no live audience but the people of Clover and Fiore could still watch it and they were. “Please...” Gems begged.

“Rub your nose on the ground!” Seth yelled, making Gems flinch. Gray and the others were yelling at him to stop, but Gems didn't listen. Gems was already on his knees, he bent down and rubbed his nose on the ground infront of Seth.

The wicked smile on Seth's face widened. The very next, Seth just kicked Gems making him fall backwards. “Too bad, you've no other options left.” Seth laughed.

Everyone just gasped, while Gems had tears running down his cheeks as he grabbed his own chest while getting up. His body couldn't take much damage because of the fever.

Every wizard trapped there were shouting at Gems, trying to help him and asking him to run away. It was bad because Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus who arrived to watch the finale were also caught.

Seth just scoffed and snapped his fingers, causing the timer above Gray to start.

‘I have to fight... I can't let that nightmare become a reality...’ Gems thought as he wiped off the blood from his nose. ‘That nightmare was controlled by Seth, but this is reality, my reality and I am in control here... I can beat Seth and his squad... I just have to push through... I can't give up... Not only Gray's but my parents life is at risk as well... I have to fight... I will not give up...’ Gems thought as he got up, grabbing his sides and wiped his tears away as he looked at the timer. 

He had a look of anger and determination on his face.

Gray swallowed a lump in his throat, he could feel Gems's energy and there wasn't much.

“I am not giving up!” Gems yelled. “Requip: Believix!” Gems immediately transformed and looked like he was about to attack Seth but went right at Gray.

“Wind Blast!” Gems directly launched his attack right at the large metal cross, on which Gray was tied up. Gray closed his eyes. But nothing happened.
