Conan wasn't exactly pleased with your plan, but he didn't have a better idea. He made a show of telling Ran about something shiny in the bottom of the pond. Sure enough, Inspector Coral went to look.

It didn't take long before he called for the CSI to search the pond. You watched in amused silence as one by one the officer's descended the staircase, save for an officer guarding the doorway.

My turn.

You skipped into the living room, where the family were all waiting impatiently for an update on the situation. Now, which pin to pull~ You looked carefully at each of the family members, before smirking. You moved over to the father of the first victim. "Hello, mister!" You chirped innocently. He looked down at you, a tired smile lifting his lips.

"Hello, little lady." He hummed. "How can I help you?"

"I heard the police saying something about someone called Will. Do you know who that is?" You tilted your head.

His eyebrows furrowed. "I don't. What did they say about this person?"

"They said that Will said everything was going to the sister-in-law."

"They what?!" The brother of the victim leapt to his feet. "That's bullshit! After everything I did for him!"

Youko sighed. "Just sit down." She looked up at her irate son. "Everything he and Riyo had goes to Rui."

"And who the hell decided that?" Kohaku barked.

"Look at yourself. Who would want you raising their child?" Mrs. Aizawa scoffed.

"You little!" Kohaku lunged forward, but Mr. Aizawa intercepted him.

"Choose your next action wisely." Mr. Aizawa stated, his tone firm.

Kohaku took a swing at the more controlled man, and a full on brawl exploded.

You skipped up the stairs to where the officer that had been guarding the door waited. He was staring down the stairs, concerned.

"The people down there are hitting each other." You called.

The officer raced down the stairs. With a bounce in your step, you headed back to the crime scene.

You climbed up onto the liquor cabinet, and leaned your ear against the cool metal of the safe. The heavy tumblers made finding the combination elementary. It only took you two minutes before the safe door clunked open. The loud noise, unfortunately, drew the attention of the others who'd already made their way back upstairs.

"Ah, what are you doing?" Inspector Coral shouted, before noticing the safe door hanging slightly ajar. His eyes widened. "How did you...?"

You hadn't expected to get caught so quickly, and hadn't planned a response. Fortunately, Ran entered the room.

"Rin, you shouldn't be playing with things like that." She chastised.

"Sorry." You mumbled as you let her lift you off the liquor cabinet and place you on the ground. "It just reminded me of an old spy movie I watched with (Y/N)." You chirped. "I turned it like they did in the show, and stopped when I heard a click!" You oversimplified the process that still took years of experience to learn.

Inspector Coral didn't question you any further. He probably found your answer satisfactory, or at least more reasonable than an elementary student knowing how to crack a safe. He hurried to the safe, and carefully removed the contents.

"Medical documents?" He mused aloud as he thumbed through the loose papers. "Hmm... what's this note." He paused at a sticky note stuck to an inner page. "What is Ethylene Glycol?" He asked, looking to one of the CSI.
