Sorry this chapter is so late. Unfortunately, I'm having a bad health crash again. I'll try to continue updating, but I can't promise any sort of consistency or frequency. I apologize, but I have to be careful not to worsen my condition.

You locked the door behind you, letting out a tired sigh. It'd been a long day, and your stomach still churned dangerously.
"Breathe, (Y/N)." You whispered to yourself. Let me get out of these clothes. You thought to yourself. You ducked beside the desk, where you'd placed your bag, and picked out your pajamas. You quietly got changed, before returning your dirty clothes to the outer pocket of your bag.
You started to rezip the bag, when something caught your eye. There was something scribbled on the bottom of the desk. You yanked your bag out from under the desk, and crawled under it. You used your phone as a flashlight, and shone it where you'd seen the scrawled writing. In neat penmanship a name was etched. Hiro.
A cold weight settled in your stomach. No. That's a common name. It's just a coincidence. You reached up, and ran your finger over the name. There was a faint click right beside your ear. You jumped, dropping your phone in the process. A burst of hot air washed over your right side. No way... You ran your fingertips around the wall, and your fingers finally caught something. You pushed softly, and there was another click. A piece of the wall swung out.
You grinned. "Bingo~" You hummed as you carefully crawled through the opening. Through the opening, the path opened high enough for you to stand. You dusted off your pants and looked around. The walls were heavily padded with what looked like foam panels. "Conan's gonna have a field day with this." You grinned. You were plunged into complete darkness as something clicked behind you. You spun back around.
Where the opening had been was a seamless wall of black foam. "No, no, no..." You groped along the wall, but there were no imperfections in the foam, save for the fine outline of the doorway itself.
"Conan! Can anyone hear me!" You screamed, but the noise died right in front of you. "Dammit..." You growled as you punched fruitlessly at the padded wall.
You carefully turned around, keeping your hand on the wall. You stared into the open space before you and waited for your vision to adjust, but there was no light. You couldn't hear, you couldn't see, and the sweltering heat of the padded path was already making sweat bead on the back of your neck. You were trapped.

"Where could she have gone?" Ran whispered.
"She couldn't have left on her own." Conan countered. "Both the doors and the windows were locked from inside."
"Does anyone else have a key to this room?" Kogoro barked.
"No." Yori shook his head. "I'm the only one with a key, and I've been with you the entire time."
"Could someone have taken them?"
"No, they stay with me at all times."
"If the killer took her..." Conan's words caught in his throat as the corpse he'd seen earlier flashed through his mind. "She might be hidden somewhere."
Yori looked back out the door. "Tadashi, call the others." He instructed. "I want everyone to pair up and search every inch of this house, do you understand?"
"Yes, sir." Tadashi responded.
"Mr. Mouri, you search with your daughter." Yori continued.
Kogoro and Ran nodded, before heading out of the room.
