"This one's nice, do you think she'll like it?" I looked through the glass to where Finn was pointing. A beautiful necklace with little diamonds laced into the metal. I couldn't lie it looked like a gorgeous necklace and his girlfriend was very lucky.
"It's beautiful, I definitely think it's the one." He nodded as we walked over to the till to purchase it. The worker went over and got it out, wrapping it up. He punched the amount into the till looking over at me.
"You're a very lucky girl, your boyfriend must think very much of you buying you something this expensive." We both looked at each other laughing.
"Oh, no we're not dating, just good friends." The cashier blushed in embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry, I just presumed that the two of you were together." Finn shook his head as we tried to ease him out of the awkward situation.
"We get it all the time, we're used to it." The guy laughed, quickly handing the necklace to Finn and walking away. "What is it with people?" He asked as we walked out.
"I don't know but those moments sure are funny buddy." Finn nodded in agreement as we walked back over to the car.
