"When did you get here?" You chuckled watching him walk down the stairs, walking straight over to you and the crate you were sat on.
"Hours ago, I've been hiding from you all day." He shook his head with a smile, grabbing a towel from the side.
"Come here," he said, opening his arms up for a hug.
"Absolutely not," you replied, pushing him away.
"What?" He asked, unsure as to what he'd done wrong. He stepped back anyway, wiping the beads of sweat from his forehead.
"You smell I don't want to be hugged by a sweaty mess, that's disgusting." He shook his head again, sitting down beside you, leaving a satisfying distance.
"Most girls would just leap into their boyfriend's arms when they saw them and give them a massive kiss." You giggled, looking at him, shrugging your shoulders.
"What can I say? I'm not like most girls." He but his tongue, stifling a laugh.
"I see what you did there," he joked, poking your shoulder making you squirm.
"Not just a pretty face," you teased. He nodded in agreement, not able to wipe the smile off of his face, the whole surprise not hitting him just yet that you were there.
