The two of you sat down at the table, going out on Valentine's night was never the brightest of ideas you'd had.

"We have a 2 for 1 deal on tonight for or couples," the waiter smiled as he placed two menus in front of you.

"Oh no we're not dating," Baron chimed in. You leaned forward and placed your left hand over his.

"He's just saying that because we're actually engaged." You kept your right hand under the table so he couldn't see it.

He smiled at you both and then walked away from you both giving you a couple of minutes to look through.

"Why did you tell him we were engaged?" Baron half shouted once the guy was out of ear shot.

"Hello? Free food. You know I'll do anything if it means I get to eat my meal for free." He rolled his eyes, trying to take his hand away from mine.

"Just pretend for one night, you never know, it might be fun." You tried to sound hopeful but his bleak expression said otherwise.

"I just hope this won't backfire," he warned turning the page.

"It won't, love," you teased with a massive grin on your face.
